Parents of a 4-year-old son are in need of a refrigerator to support food security, food health and allow the client to prepare healthy meals in advance. Their refrigerator went out and they have been using coolers instead. It would also be helpful, once they had a refrigerator to have a gift card to Walmart to get food / drinks that they can put in the refrigerator and freezer.

I am reaching out to seek assistance for a mother who is currently facing a difficult situation. She has relocated out of state to escape a domestic violence relationship and drives from Chattanooga to Pell City every Thursday to visit her children who are in foster care as a result of the domestic violence.

Yesterday, after leaving her visit with her children, she was stopped by law enforcement and taken into custody due to a falsified warrant filed by her ex-partner. While she has been released (because this truly was a falsified report), her car was impounded, and it will cost $160 to retrieve it. This car is essential for her to maintain a connection with her children.

Additionally, she has been struggling financially and had to borrow gas money just to make it to her visit. She really has not been able to catch a break! We are seeking any support you may be able to offer, whether it's financial assistance, resources, or guidance on navigating this situation. Your help would make a significant difference in her ability to stay connected with her children and continue to rebuild her life.
