A mother of 5 needs assistance with beds for her children. One of the children has severe diabetes and had to hospitalized. The other children are staying with friends. The home needs to be furnished with safe sleep furniture but space is limited. Due to having growing teenagers in the home (4), she needs two queen beds and two twin beds.

The loving and caring mother of 5 just recently lost her job and is doing the best she can to provide for the children. The central air unit needs to be repaired and they need box fans to help keep the home cool. In addition the mother needs a pack and play for a one year old, pull ups, need storage bins for their clothes. The 15 year old youth is very active in school sports needs football gloves and football shoes for school. We believe that providing the above mentioned items the family can maintain stability and well being.

An adult sibling to 4 children has agreed to provide a home to them. Despite being only 22, she has committed to care for her siblings and needs some assistance. She is in need of three twin beds, bedding, and a pack and play to provide safe sleep furniture for the children.

Foster Care case manager is working with a foster family who is needing a twin size bed for their foster child. They have been remodeling their home trying to make more room for future foster children as well. They need a twin size mattress with frame and bedding for their current 6 year old female foster child. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

A sibling group of three (ages 3, 19 months, and 3 months) entered custody. The children are placed with their maternal aunt, and she is in need of a crib for the 19 month old child. She has had to take off work until child care is found, and it will take several weeks to receive a board payment, so she cannot afford to purchase a crib at this time.

Mother recently left Memphis to escape a domestic violence relationship but later had to return due to not having a vehicle. The mother had government assistance in Alabama but is currently waiting for her benefits to be transferred back to TN. The mother needs help obtaining some baby items while she is trying to get back settled in TN. 6-9 months clothing( female) Diaper size 4 and Wipes.

Caseworker is working with a family who just started a trial home visit. The mother just got her children back on a trial home visit and has a newborn baby as well. She is in need of a twin bed with mattress, frame and bedding for a boy. A new bed for one of these siblings will be greatly help with their sleeping arrangements so they all have their own bed to sleep in. Any assistance with this is appreciated!

We have a client in urgent need of assistance with a past-due utility bill from her previous residence. She is a mother of five children and currently pregnant with her sixth. At present, she and her children are living with her mother due to the outstanding balance, which has made it impossible for her to return to her own home.

Her goal is to settle this bill and move back into stable housing before the upcoming school year begins. We are seeking any financial assistance, payment plans, or community resources that can help resolve the past-due amount so she can regain her independence and provide stability for her children.

The youth is a 10 year old girl in need of school uniforms for the upcoming school year. The youth resides with her father. The father is employed full-time and is maintaining the home. The youth's clothing sizes are: Size 12 in tops and bottoms. The uniform colors are: White, purple, and navy blue shirts. Bottoms are: Khaki, navy blue, and black.

The family is currently living in a two-bedroom home. One of the bedrooms contains two beds, which are shared between five children. Mom could use one more bed to provide a restful nights sleep for one of the older siblings. Mom expressed that she is doing her best to provide for her children while she is unemployed.

We are requesting support in the form of bus passes for a youth who is currently working toward completing his GED. The youth is mandated to attend GED classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, but consistent transportation has become a significant barrier. His mother, the only adult in the household with a vehicle, works long hours to support the family’s basic needs. She also provides transportation for his sister to and from work, which makes it difficult to coordinate consistent rides for the youth. The family is experiencing financial hardship and is unable to afford reliable transportation or extra funds for public transit. Their current income is stretched thin to cover rent, utilities, groceries, and other essential expenses. Due to these challenges, the youth has had to rely on friends for rides, which has caused inconsistencies in his attendance and created additional stress. Providing bus passes would greatly reduce this barrier and allow the youth to attend his GED classes regularly and on time. Access to transportation would not only improve his academic performance and help him meet court-mandated requirements, but also positively impact his sense of responsibility, motivation, and future employment prospects. With consistent access to education, the youth can take an important step toward self-sufficiency and long-term stability for himself and his family.

The family is currently under a majority one income household due to the family recently getting denied SSI and the youth’s mother’s hours getting suddenly changed to part-time. The family is very limited on groceries at this time and is in need of food assistance.
