A generous family of five recently opened their home to a sibling set of four so the children could remain together during an incredibly difficult time. They’ve now been caring for all nine family members for nearly a month. While they’re doing an amazing job creating stability and love for these children, they’re struggling to keep up with the increased grocery needs. They could really use support with breakfast items, snacks, and other everyday essentials. If you feel compelled to help, there are a few ways to make a meaningful difference—sending a Walmart gift card, arranging a Walmart delivery, or dropping off groceries directly at their home. We’re also open to creative ideas or any other forms of support you may be able to offer.

Requesting bikes for 3 kiddos as they have no outdoor activities currently and desire to have bicycles to ride! Two boys who are 10 and 12 and a 6-year-old girl who probably needs training wheels. Thank you for your care!

Family is struggling with a flea infestation and are working with protective services to eradicate the fleas but are in need of a vacuum cleaner to help with the downstairs carpets. This is a very low-income family and the client is on disability. Very limited on funds and need assistance in obtaining a vacuum cleaner so that they can get the home to a safe standard for the children. Family will be grateful for any assistance.

Mother is needing assistance to pay for her car tag which is set to expire on June 30th. This is her only source of transportation at this time. She has 2 children in the home. Mother is having surgery 6/30/25 and will need transportation to and from follow up medical appointments. Mother is currently unemployed due to medical issue but will be working with Vocational Rehabilitation program to help with job training and job placement once she is healed from surgery.

Family with 4 children needs assistance with getting a dryer. Children were initially placed in police protective custody due to conditions of the home and have since been placed in foster care. The family needs a dryer to assist with getting and keeping the home in better, safer condition for the children to be able to return home. Family has been working diligently to upgrade the condition of the home including major home repairs. Social worker has reached out stating that the dryer is one of the things that will make a major impact towards moving the children back home. Court is coming up again soon and family would appreciate having everything in place to be able to bring children home.

J single father of 4, has been having hard economic problems. He is the only income at home. He has one child at DCF custody and 3 more children in his custody . Evergy cut off the service today. Jason has a 100 dollars , charity agency gave him $150.00. He needs $204.00 for his service is reinstalled. Any consideration for this need is greatly appreciated.

Grandmother is now caring for her granddaughter who was in foster care in Missouri and once granddaughter's parents' rights are relinquished, Grandmother will be adopting granddaughter. Grandmother lives in a very old trailer and the washer and dryer does not work. With increased laundry there is a great need for a washer and dryer. Grandmother lives on her disability subsidy which is not enough to save money to buy a used washer and dryer. Any consideration for this need is greatly appreciated.
