A 16-year-old female is awaiting placement at the local creek county DHS office. We are actively searching for placement for her statewide daily. We need assistance with food (for breakfast, lunch and dinner snacks etc.) In addition, we are out of toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash. We would be extremely grateful for any and all assistance available.

I have a disabled grandmother who is fostering four of her grandchildren. She has recently relocated to the area and needs assistance with getting the water and electric turned on in her name. She needs $235 to turn the water on in her name and $315 to turn the electric on.

Please assist biological mother with the cost of day camp for her daughter. They are strengthening their relationship and hoping for more time together. Mom has to work during the day hours when the camp is going. The mother is asking for $75 per week for 1-2 days.

Please help single mom with transportation issues. Natural mom was a substitute teacher and is now looking for new employment so she can provide for herself and her 4-year-old daughter. Natural mom has a vehicle for transportation but needs help with her insurance premium so that she can continue successfully serving her daughter and making it to needed service to keep the family together.

A family of five is needing assistance with their water bill. They have fallen behind and need assistance with this bill to get themselves back on their feet. She is trying to complete her educational obligations while maintaining her employment and caring for her children. The mother is overwhelmed, but if this need could be met, she should be able to move forward without further assistance. Thank you for your consideration.

This is a kinship foster home consisting of grandparents and a grandchild. They have expressed their need of diapers and how they are getting expensive and wanting to try to get in potty training to cut the cost on expenses. The family is in need of diapers, wipes, and a potty training chair. Anything could help.

Good Morning Care Portal Partners! We currently have five children in the office awaiting placement while searches are being conducted. We could use some assistance with some simple breakfast and lunch groceries for the kiddos (i.e. cereal with milk, lunch meat, cheese and bread, simple snacks like fruit). Hello! We are asking you to please help a mother and her two children with a couch and recliner. This mother has worked very hard to reunify with her children. She has been able to obtain a two bedroom home but has struggled to finish furnishing it. This mother is doing everything right and continues to patiently work through her and the children’s past trauma. She is asking for a couch for the children to sit on and a recliner as she has had back surgery and this is the sometimes the easiest way for her to get some rest. This family would be very grateful for any help you could provide. Thank you for your generosity.

Hello! I have a 15 year old boy who was in need of placement short notice and his Aunt accepted to be a kinship placement for him. The Aunt is in need of a twin mattress as she already has a bed frame. If not a twin mattress then an air mattress or cot could work as well. The Aunt is also in need of grocery assistance since it was short notice and as you know 15 year old boys eat a lot! If anyone can help with this request it would be much appreciated! Thank you!

A foster parent is needing help with obtaining a bigger car seat for a new placement she took into her home. The child she is fostering is about 18 months old.

Please consider assisting a single mother of three school-aged children with her past due AEP electric bill. She applied for LIHEAP but unfortunately missed the deadline. Her electric service has been disconnected due to the outstanding balance. Mom is currently working part-time and actively searching for full-time employment over the summer. Any support to help restore her family's electric service would be a tremendous blessing.

A mother of two has just reunited with both her children after completing some services and has been making great progress for herself and for her children. They are in need of a full mattress for the two girls to share. They already have a bed frame; they are just in need of a Full-sized mattress.
