At just 22 years old, a brave young woman has stepped up to care for her 17-year-old sister through kinship placement. Despite breaking her wrist and being unable to work, she continues to fight for their future—applying for assistance, searching for housing, and providing love and stability through it all.

Right now, she’s hoping for help with clothing for her sister—essentials like tops, bottoms, underwear, and shoes. Gift cards or clothing donations would mean the world to them.

These sisters have already overcome so much, yet they press on with strength and hope. If you’re able to support or share, it would make a difference in their lives.

I’m reaching out with an urgent request on behalf of a devoted grandmother who has just received emergency custody of her two grandchildren. They are currently in another state on the West Coast, and she now faces the difficult task of bringing them home.

One of the children has paraplegia, making travel even more complex. The grandmother must fly out to them, then rent a wheelchair-accessible van and drive the children back across the country. She is willing to do whatever it takes—but she can’t do it alone.

A family of four, mom, dad, and two littles ages 2 and 4 months are in the US in the process of applying for asylum. They came here with their oldest and had the youngest while here in the US. They are from Venezuela and in need of some support. They are in need of a double stroller so they take their two littles out. Any help would be appreciated.

This mom is a single parent that turned to alcohol and had a mental breakdown after her husband divorced her. Her 13 year old daughter is in Foster Care in a group home in Toledo, Ohio. It has taken three years for this mom to take classes, attend rehab, and focus on her daughter returning home. This was not easy, but this mom is recovering! Mom will start weekend visits to start reunification, and has no bed for her daughter to sleep. This typical 13 year old would like a bedroom of her own. She requests a twin bed, her favorite colors are black and red for a comforter set, a mattress, a lamp and rug would be nice along with a twin size sheet set. Any help that is given is greatly appreciated.

Despite her dedication, she is now facing a serious personal challenge: she recently underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to her surgery and ongoing recovery, she is unable to work for the next few months. Her rent is $800 per month, and she is in urgent need of support to cover three months of housing expenses — a total of $2,400 — until she is well enough to return to work. This grandmother has done everything she can to keep her granddaughter safe and cared for. She is not asking for a handout, but rather a helping hand during a time of healing and hardship. Any support — financial assistance, community resources, or referrals — would make a meaningful difference for this family as they navigate both recovery and responsibility. Helping this family now means helping keep a home intact, easing the burden of illness, and honoring the strength of a caregiver who continues to put her grandchild’s needs above her own.

They are hoping for some financial assistance to help them meet their needs—up to $200 in gas cards (any local gas station would be appreciated, but both Speedway and Marathon are near the family residence). They would, however, gratefully accept gas cards in any amount.

While she is working hard to get benefits in place for her grandson and is in the process of securing a Section 8 housing voucher, she is struggling to meet immediate basic needs. She is doing everything she can to care for her family on her own.

Recently, she also suffered the heartbreaking loss of her older son's father, followed closely by the passing of her sister. These back-to-back tragedies have left her emotionally and financially overwhelmed.

This grandmother is doing her very best to keep her family safe, healthy, and together. Alternately this outstanding need continues to remind the children that they're new to this home and have not yet settled in. While he is in the process of applying for financial benefits to help support the children, there are still urgent needs. The caregiver is seeking support with clothing for both boys, including baby clothes. Any assistance with clothing items or gift cards for children’s clothing would be deeply appreciated, especially as he is not currently receiving SNAP benefits. This support would help free up limited funds for groceries and ease the financial strain on the household.

Additionally, the caregiver is in need of two toddler beds and two toddler mattresses to ensure safe and appropriate sleeping arrangements for both boys, as the baby will soon transition into toddlerhood.

A single mother of four daughters needs your help. Before her pregnancy she started getting seizure's. She had the baby in 2024 and it was a struggle. She had a complicated pregnancy and the baby came three weeks early. During the pregnancy the seizures' worsened. She was unable to work. With all the troubles during this time she struggled with rent. She has an agreement that if she pays all her back rent she can stay in her place. She has money figured out now to be able to stay stable with her bills. She is just short $2,500. She needs it in two days or her family of 5 will loose their home. Any help will be very appreciated.
