I am working with a grandmother who has taken her four grandchildren into placement. She was recently granted guardianship of those children, in addition to another infant, who is also in guardianship with her. She is currently in a 3 bedroom apartment. She has the opportunity to move to a four bedroom home. It will create more space for herself and the children. She is in need of half of the deposit. She has the other half. The deposit is $1900 so we are asking for assistance with $950. Thank you for any help.

Bio mom in need of lockbox for her medications. Mom has several prescriptions that are sometimes within reach of the children. Mom is currently engaging in recommended FCS services, and following recommendations of the case. Mom is unable to work so she cannot afford the lockbox herself. Any help would be much appreciated! A mother and father of a 7-month-old girl are utilizing most of their income to pay for a hotel weekly. They could use assistance with the cost of gas so they can make it to visits with their daughter and to work.

Please help a family providing a safe and loving environment for a kiddo in need. This family has generously opened their hearts and their home but due to the unexpected expense of another person at the family dinner table, they could really use assistance with a food donation. Hello everyone! I have a mother and 1 year old child on my caseload who is in need of food assistance. Mom is engaged in services and has completed most of what is being asked of her. Mom is in need of food in order to care for herself and child. Please help this mom with this basic need. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Current need for family are 2 twin bed mattresses. They made a request previous and received bunk bed frame and mattresses but the mattresses are TOO BIG for the bunk beds. They need smaller twin mattresses no longer than 75 inches and no wider than 38 1/2 inches to fulfill this need for the 6yo. They are also asking for a twin bed frame to use for the previous mattresses that they received so all 3 children have a bed and are not sleeping on the floor or the couch. If all cannot be met than the would like to focus the ask for smaller twin mattresses to fit the bunk beds.

OKDHS is working with a family. They have two girls that have recently been reunified with the parents in their home after the parents have made great progress providing safety for their kids. Both parents recently became employed full time but are struggling to make ends meet and trying to catch up from being unemployed. Their children are starting a new school soon and this school will provide a fantastic supportive educational environment for these bright and talented young ladies. We are asking for help with providing these young ladies some school uniforms to help the parents prepare for the upcoming school year. The girls need plain navy polo shirts and t-shirts. The also need plain navy sweatshirts. (no hoodies) They are also in need of navy, black, or khaki slacks, shorts, and sweatpants. Sizing information will be provided directly by the parents. A 5-year-old girl got accepted into a specialized school and behavioral health program that will greatly benefit her emotional well-being and provide her foster parent with the necessary support to continue parenting her. To attend the program, she must wear sneakers. This foster parent would greatly appreciate assistance with providing a pair in size 11. Additionally, the foster parent will be traveling an extra 50 miles per day to drop her off and pick her up and would appreciate a gas card to assist with the cost of gas.

We have three kiddos in need of summer clothes, as they have grown out of their clothes from last year, and natural mother is taking some time off work with the birth of her new baby this month leading to tight finances. Sizes are boys 5T, boys 4T, and girls 3T. This family is also in need of baby boy or gender neutral clothing of all sizes, as they prepare for his arrival this month. Any help is appreciated!

We have a family in need of help with a few items. The first is two 5-point carseats for a 1 and 2 year old, as they are close to outgrowing their current ones. This family is also in need of assistance with transportation, whether from bus passes, gas cards, an Uber/Lyft card, or assistance with a vehicle, as the natural mother continues struggling with financial instability. This would help her maintain the ability to get to work, family time, and other services.
