Due to living arrangements and limited income, we have a single mom involved with us. The mom has not work for a long time and was depending on her grandfather's retirement to pay the bills. Two months ago, the grandfather passed away and now she is behind on electric bills. She diligently applied for a job and will start working next week. She diligently works on the recommended services and halfway through for completing parenting classes. The mom is asking for help to pay the portion of the electric bills to prevent the cut-off of the service. The mom stated that once she started working, she would be able to make allotment payment to OG&E. By helping the mom, she can maintain the electric service and possibly return the children at home. We are thankful for your generosity.

We have a family with three children, who desperately need our help to pay for the deposits on the apartment. They have been involved with us for more than a year. The parents have been working on the services and making good choices. Mom is now working full time, and dad is working part time and made initial payments to the apartment but still need help paying for the rest so they can move into the apartment soon. We kindly ask for your help and support for this family. By helping this family pay the deposits, they can secure a place for their children, and we should be able to request trial reunification. Child has been without insurance since April 3. He has a new policy starting in May, but the parents had to pay out-of-pocket for his medication ths month. His ADHD medication, which is necessary for his success in school, cost $150. In addition, they spent $50 for bronchitis medication after taking into an urgent care. In total, $200 would help support this family that lives paycheck to paycheck.

Hello everyone, I have a family on my caseload that consists of a single mom and her two teenagers. Both teenagers want to enroll in driving school. Both of these teenagers are doing amazingly well in school and are working part-time jobs to save for a car once they are licensed. As a single mom, making a fresh start for her family, she is simply not able to afford the classes for both kids. This mom is struggling to work, attend services, and also transport both children to school and work. Each child will need $390.00 to attend the classes. These are really great kids, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have a family on my caseload who is working hard to ensure their home is safe. They have a 7-year-old boy whose A/C unit in his room broke during the winter. This summer is expected to be very harsh. I am requesting $150.00 so they can purchase him a new one before the summer weather starts. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone, I have a family that is doing very well. This family has gone through some traumatic events and come out stronger. One of the parents was required to take 52 weeks of batterer's intervention classes. They have done amazingly and only have 6 classes left. They are required to pay $25 per class and have to pay $75 for an exit exam. This has cost them $1375 in total, and they have never requested financial assistance. I am writing in hopes that someone is willing to fund their exit exam that is coming up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A strong single mom of 3 had to move out of her apartment into a new house and has come short on bill payments. This mom is unable to get her gas started and needs to start the service as soon as possible. It will take approximately $200 to start this service in her home.

Please help a new kinship home keep placement. Two 10-year-old twins have been placed with their grandparents while mom works on services to better her life. One of the twins has down syndrome and is special needs. She is a bright happy child that is non-verbal and has a feeding tube. Mom is driving 120 miles daily to help care for her daughter and is in desperate need of assistance for gas. The child also only was sent home with two outfits from the hospital after getting her feeding tube. Her other clothes no longer fit due to the much-needed weight gain that the feeding tube has helped with. She is needing girls size 10-12 clothing. The family is also in need of pull ups for the child. Any help for this family would be a blessing. Thank you!

After each and every forensic interview children are given the opportunity to pick out a comfort item from out from a special room that we have typically have full of stuffed animals and throw blankets. This is something that is very important to us to be able to do after forensics. We are asking for any dontations of stuffed animals and throw blankets. This is and will always be a constant need here at the child advocacy center. We are extremely low and would be so thankful for any donations.

Parent is in need of vehicle repairs for her car. It is her only means of transportation to and from work, attend court and services, and see her children who are currently in OHS custody. Parent desires to be self-sufficient as she makes an effort to reunify with her son.

We had a family of 10 come to us about 2 weeks ago. They had moved here from Arizona with housing lined out and a job. Unfortunatley the housing fell through 2 hours before they got to Oklahoma. They were forced to use the funds they had to live in a hotel. When that money ran out they came to us and we were able to put them up for 2 weeks. During that 2 weeks the father started working and has found a 5 bedroom home locally but doesn't have the full amount for the deposit. They can move in as early as today but are missing that 1200.00. Thank you in advance for your faithfulness!
