Reunified teenager with single mother. Both working to help cover rent, but got behind with deposit and job changes. Need aid with rent to help them both recover. Will be sustainable after initial assistance. Any amount will help with the assistance.

Foster parents of 7 (all are part of two sibling sets) are helping out by driving four of the children to family time with their parents. A gas card would be a big support for these foster parents and the children they care for.

Please help a biological mother with a medical expense. A parent capacity evaluation is needed to aid in a child reunifying with his mother, and she needs assistance with the financial requirement of this evaluation. We appreciate any support!!

This is a kinship foster mother to a nine year old girl and three year old boy. The children currently have separate bedrooms but continue to move to one room in the middle of the night to be close to one another. They are currently on a twin size mattress in the floor. The home is asking for a twin size bunk bed. OKDHS has utilized other providers and has been unable to find a bed that will fit this homes need. A sibling set (2 yo female and 1 yo male) were recently brought into custody and we are placing the children in a kinship home today. We are requesting assistance with two toddler/convertible car seats so that the kinship can safely transport the children. Without the car seats, the kinship cannot take placement of the children. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Natural father to a five month old baby girl is working to make his home a safe place so they can reunify this summer. He currently needs a crib, high chair, Johnny jumper, sound machine, baby monitor, baby proofing supplies (cabinet locks, outlet covers...), Avent bottles with size four nipples, Tommee Tippee ultra light pacifiers, baby bath essentials, diaper cream, crib sheets, sleep sacks, three to six month baby girl clothes, and size three and four Pampers Swaddlers diapers. Anything helps. This father is working very hard to build a safe home and support system so he can successfully parent his baby girl.

This family consist of a mother and her two children, ages 2 and 3. The mom has been completing our home visiting program - SafeCare, to try and maintain placement with her children. She recently got reunited with her kids, and is in need of some items to help keep them safe! The main item needed is a car seat for the 3 year old so that mom can transport the kids safely. The child is 3, about to be 4, so a toddler car seat is an appropriate size! Mom is a full time caregiver for both kids, and during the day is watching the 3 year old from home due to complications. Mom picks up the 2 year old from daycare every day and is trying to take the kids to all of their needed doctors appointments, but she is needing a car seat for the 3 year old to be able to do this safely. Any assistance is helpful!!!

Hello! We are asking you to please help a mother and her two children with a couch. This mother has worked very hard to reunify with her children. She has been able to obtain a two bedroom home but has struggled to finish furnishing it. This mother is doing everything right and continues to patiently work through her and the children’s past trauma. She is asking for a couch so that she and the children are able to enjoy sitting together in their living room. This family would be very grateful for any help you could provide. Thank you for your generosity.

Mom in need of bunk beds and mattresses for teenage children. Full sized bunks/mattresses would be preferable, but twin would be accepted. Children are currently sleeping on air mattresses which are deflated so the cats won't puncture them. Mom is working full time but is not able to afford bedding for the children. She is also actively following recommendations of her FCS case. Any help would be much appreciated.

This amazing family welcomed a child into their home this March, but they are not receiving financial assistance from OKDHS at this time. They've faced so much this year, including losing their home and having to quickly relocate. Tragically, last month, the foster mother's ex-husband and father to her children passed away. As his next of kin, she took on the responsibility of arranging and paying for his funeral, which has left her completely depleted financially. She's now in a difficult position and doesn't even have gas money to get to work. They could really use some support to help them get by until her next payday on the 15th. Anything you could offer would be a tremendous help.

We have a natural mom who is needing assistance with paying for half of a parenting teens class that is a required service for her to reunify with her children. This mom has been working diligently to complete the services asked of her by DHS for reunification. The total amount of the class is $120 and we are asking for help with at least $60 towards the full payment. If this need is met, this mom will gain knowledge and support needed to parent her pre-teen to teenage children.
