A single mom of 4 is needing assistance with baby proofing items. This mom has her hands full and has been struggling to get settled into her new apartment and keeping up with the house. She recently moved into a new apartment and has been waiting for them to fix her dishwasher which has increased the time it takes to clean up the kitchen. Mom currently does not have any baby proofing items except for a big playpen, but the baby often cries if mom needs to put him in there to clean, cook, etc. This family is needing either a $135 Walmart giftcard to purchase the needed items or 1 baby gate with a door, a pack of plug protectors and 28 adhesive locks for drawers and cabinets (2 12-packs and 1 4-pack).

We are currently working with a family of eight in Payne County, consisting of a grandmother, mother, father, and five children. Over the past three months, the foster family has made significant strides toward improving their overall wellbeing. They are in need of a gently used kitchen table that can seat at least six people. Providing this assistance would support the family’s efforts to improve their lives while allowing them to continue managing other financial responsibilities. We are requesting a second dresser for the family. Mom does her best to provide everything for her and her daughter. However, Mom does has Lupus, Rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and poly arthritis. Therefore, she works part time. They recently moved to a safer home and was unable to take their dresser due to bug infestation.

We are requesting $250 to purchase a lawn mower. The family needs to stay in compliance with the landlord, and the teenagers plan to use it to earn money over the summer to help the caregiver with household finances and school supplies

Help this family of 6 with items for their home after being homeless for a time! Dad works full time and they just need a hand getting back on their feet. There are 4 young kids in the home; ages 8, 5, 2, and 2mo.

This family is in need of: -full size bed/mattress, box springs, frame -twin on twin bunk bed and 2 twin mattresses -toddler bed/mattress -couch -table and chairs (card table would work) -towels -all bedding and pillows -dressers (plastic drawers would work) -highchair -stroller -washer & dryer

I am requesting the specific heated/weighted blanket for a foster mom. This is needed for a chronic medical condition that gets significantly worse with stress. The family has had an abundance of financial strains lately, which included her previous blanket being broken. This family has adopted 7 children out of the foster care system and continues to foster hard to place children and goes above and beyond to help them thrive.

The Youth went on a swimming outing with me and he was wearing old men shoes that were 2 sizes too big. His mom said the children had outgrown their shoes and they did not have the money to buy everyone's shoes. It would be a great help for the family to have shoes and for the young man so he does not have to go out in public with men shoes that are too big for him. 1 Men size 9.5 (He likes Red/Black shoes) 2 Girls size 1 and size 3 (in kids) 1 Boys size 12 (in toddler size shoe)

Good Afternoon, I am submitting a request on behalf of a single grandmother who is currently caring for her 4-year-old grandson. She has been providing care for him while the child’s parents are engaged in long term out of home services. The grandmother is currently in need of a front-facing car seat with an internal harness to safely transport her grandson. The previous car seat she was using was outdated, and the harness has broken. Due to her limited income, she is struggling to afford a replacement. Her grandson is in her car full time and transports him to appointments and school daily. She has been a consistent and dependable caregiver for her grandson, and having a safe, reliable car seat is essential to continue supporting his needs. I have parents that just moved to a different apartment and are in need of twin beds with mattress for 2 kids. They would like to be able to have a queen box springs for themselves they have a queen mattress.
