This family had to get rid of all their furniture due to roach and bed bug infestation. The home has been treated and cleaned. The carpet was pulled up out of the home and has bare old hardwood floors so they are in need of an area rug for the the Livingroom as the kids have been getting splinters. They are in need of a couch and loveseat or chair. There are two girls sharing a bedroom that need bunks and dressers.

A young mother and her child have never been out on their own. The mother recently became homeless and does not have much in the way of familial support. She was able to get into her own apartment with Canyon Housing Authority after couch hopping and not having anywhere to go. This is their first place, and she is moving in with practically nothing.

The department would like to request a full-size white bed frame, mattress and linen to help child acclimate to new home to also help her feel safe and accepted.
