I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request assistance for a family in need of a dining table with chairs. The family consists of a mother, her 11-month-old baby, her husband, and two additional family members. Currently, the father is the sole breadwinner, while the mother takes care of their child and her nephew.

Having a dining table would greatly enhance their ability to share meals together, fostering a sense of unity and support within the household. It would also provide a dedicated space for the children to engage in activities and for the family to gather comfortably.

I’m reaching out to request your support for our emergency youth shelter as we face extremely hot summer weather. With temperatures rising, staying hydrated is critical for the health and safety of the youth in our care.

Due to our limited budget for groceries and supplies, we are in urgent need of cases of bottled water . Providing a safe, cool environment and meeting these basic needs is essential to the wellbeing of the young people we serve, many of whom arrive dehydrated and in crisis.

Any assistance you can offer—whether through a donation of bottled water or by helping us connect with others who may be able to contribute—would make a tremendous difference.

Our goal is to provide school supplies for children whose parents or kinship caregivers are struggling to prepare them for the upcoming academic year. With your generosity, we can help ensure these students start the school year equipped and confident.

Caretaker is still working on becoming a foster parent and needs some help paying for a TB test and a phsyical for her adult daughter in order to turn in the documents her kinship coordinator.

Caretaker is also in need of clothing for foster child that is starting school soon. Pants and shirts size is 12 slim Shoe size 6 boys

Hall county has a new case with a single mother and 4 children. The children are extremely excited to start school, but want new shoes to start the new year. DFCS has assisted the family with clothing and school supplies.

The mother would also benefit from a gift card for groceries while she waits on assistance to start.

I am reaching out to you in the hope of receiving support for a family in need. A mother, along with her four daughters and her husband, has recently moved into a new apartment. They are in need of some essential furniture to make this space a true home. They need a single bed, preferably a single-sized bunk bed due to space constraints, and a dining table, which could be round or square, so they can enjoy family dinners together.

Currently, this mother is not working because she is dedicated to taking care of their four daughters, the youngest of whom is only four months old. Her husband is the sole breadwinner for the family, and although he does his best, their resources are limited.

Any help you can offer, whether by donating these pieces of furniture or sharing this request with others, would be deeply appreciated. Your generosity will help create a warm and functional home for these girls.

An 11-year-old girl, currently living with her stepmother, is navigating through immense challenges after losing her mother to COVID-19 in 2021. A victim of sexual abuse, she finds comfort in co-sleeping with her stepmother, who has taken on the nurturing role during this difficult time. To foster a sense of safety and independence, the stepmother has requested a twin-size bed for the child’s room. Providing this twin bed frame and mattress would not only enhance the child’s comfort but also support her emotional well-being as she continues to heal.

Hall County has a mother of three children; 4, 7, and 12, in need of assistance with her power bill. The mother has been working hard to get the family in a stable place because of the family dynamics changing. She currently has an outstanding power bill and it is at risk of being shut off. Any support that can be given will help ensure that the family can remain with power in the home.

Single Aunt with her own biological children in the home. The Aunt has taken on her niece while the child's mother fights active addiction. The department is still working on getting the Aunt funding to assist in caring for the basic needs of the child. The child needs summer clothing, and the department is seeking a Walmart Gift Card in the amount of $100, to assist this Aunt in helping this child and maintaining her stable placement.

Youth joined a small group through the youth program at the church and they communicate via phone. So at this time, he isn't able to fully participate in the church support group.

We have a family that is close to being able to reunify. The father obtain more spacious housing for himself and his child. He is a hardworking dad, and his son, 6 years old, needs a bed. He's sleeping on a pull-out couch, and could benefit from a bed. The father has reached out to Sleep in Heavenly Peace, but was told that they don't have any available builders in his area. This child could benefit from a twin or full-sized bed frame, box springs, and mattress. Also bedding and sheets. He loves cammo, hunting and fishing.

A single mother who is in between jobs currently and has very little money to get groceries and put gas in her car for the next week to make it to job interviews. This mom is requesting assistance with getting a grocery gift card and a gas card.
