This request is to support a homeless mother of 3 with one on the way due in August. She is seeking short-term support in the form of either a hotel stay or supportive housing once the baby is due as she will be in the hospital and in need of medical attention when the baby comes in August. This donation will help provide short-term housing and provide mother and the baby with safe and short-term stable housing at this time. Mother is very resourceful and willing to seek support and help to find housing, but needs a safe place to stay in the meantime. Thank you for your consideration!

We are urgently seeking a car seat for a 1-year-old baby girl enrolled in our SafeCare Colorado program.

She is currently living in a vulnerable environment, but her family is working hard to improve their parenting skills by attending safety and health education classes. Despite their strong commitment, they are unable to afford a safe and appropriate car seat at this time.

A car seat is essential for her safety, and we are hoping someone in the community can help.

Hello, I have 2 children who are placed here in Colorado Springs with their grandparents on an ICPC from Rhode Island. These children are in need of some school uniforms as they go to CIVA. These uniform pieces can be purchased at Walmart and do not require a school logo! They spent half a year in this school last year and were lucky enough to have some pieces from a closet at the school, but nothing has been donated to the school yet and they have grown so much since the end of last year. The boy is in size 10/12 and the girl is in size 7/8. They can have khaki or navy pants and a polo shirt in red, gold, navy, or royal. They are also in need of shoes. The boy wears a size 4 and the girl wears a size 1. Any help with these items is greatly appreciated! On the Walmart website the pants run about $15 each, and shirts are about $5 each. It also looks like shoes can be anywhere from $10-30. Again thank you so much for the time reading this and we appreciate any help that is offered.

The department who is working with a potential adoptive family for a sibling group of 3 youth that are placed in a kinship home. This kinship provider is unable to provide groceries for the youth and her biological kids in the home. The family is looking for any assistance that can be provided. Thank you.

This need is for a 17 year old boy, living with his brother who is also young. Both of his parents are incarcerated. He has very little. He is asking for: Clothes; XL top, 34x34 pants Socks: size 10 Body wash Deodorant Shampoo Toothpaste Basic school supplies, backpack, calculator Gift cards would also be okay

Mother is in need of a cellphone with minutes. She is trying to move out of father’s home and recently lost her phone and her car broke down. Mother needs phone to keep in touch with DHS Caseworker and be able to connect to local resources. Mother has 4-year-old child.

A aunt and uncle took emergency placement of their 15 year old niece, 15 year old nephew and 6 year old nephew. Aunt and Uncle also have two children of their own. The family had to move unexpectedly and are now in a new apartment and in need of some furniture. They could benefit from three dressers so the children do not have to keep their clothes in bags. With 7 people in the 3 bedroom apartment, space is limited. The older two just celebrated birthdays in June and aunt and uncle did not budget to have to move and purchase new furniture. If this need is met the children will be able to have a place to put their items.

A 16-year-old young man is currently navigating one of the most difficult times of his life. For the first time, he has entered a residential treatment facility to receive intensive mental health support. This transition comes after a series of overwhelming events, including hospitalization and placement into foster care. This journey that has left him with nothing but the clothes on his back. He has lost all of his personal clothing during the moves, and now, at a time when he needs stability and dignity the most, he has no clothes of his own. A few changes of clean clothes, socks, underwear, and a hoodie can go a long way toward helping him feel human again. Having his own clothing would restore a sense of identity and normalcy while he works to heal. This young man is working hard to manage his emotions, participate in therapy, and imagine a better future. Community support in the form of clothing would not only meet a practical need, but also send a powerful message: you are not alone, and you are worth showing up for. If this need is met, it could make a big difference in his recovery journey. Something as basic as new clothing can provide comfort, confidence, and a feeling of being seen.

Mom is currently transient but has been very communicative with her team with the available resources she has. She is engaging as much as possible. Unfortunately, she needs help keeping her phone turned on so she can speak directly with her team and coordinate family time and services. She needs service to be successful with working towards reunification with her 4 month old son. A phone card would be incredibly helpful and so appreciated. Thank you for your generosity!

Male youth in need of summer clothes he is in a size 2T.

The family is also needing help with rental assistance for the month of July. All four of the children are all in the home with their mother. Mother has just started back working and has asked for assistance with her rent for this month to help her get back on track with her bills.

A devoted caregiver is caring for a 14 year old girl. We're hoping to find a generous donor willing to provide a Walmart gift card to help with groceries. With a family of four to support and no initial reimbursement received yet, this assistance would help bridge the gap and ensure the child’s immediate needs are met. We would appreciate any help! A Provider who has taken in her grandson is on low income and is in need of Diapers for the child. The provider has a strict income and is running out of diapers and does not have the funds to purchase more at this time until she gets paid. The provider is asking for size 3 diapers for the child or $100 Walmart gift card to help with purchasing diapers for the month. The provider is thankful for any help that is received. Thank you
