Providing twin bunk beds would mean so much and greatly help in ensuring they have a cozy place to rest.

We are caring for a remarkable 15-year-old girl who has recently been placed with her fictive kin. To ensure her comfort and well-being, it is essential that she has a queen-size bed that accommodates her tall stature. This small gesture will create a nurturing space for her to thrive in her new home.

I am writing on behalf of my client whom is a dedicated single mother living in a motel with her two children. Due to unforeseen circumstances, she lost her employment and subsequently faced eviction, leading to her current living situation. Since November, she has been experiencing significant hardship, which has impacted her mental health, causing her to fall into depression. With the assistance of our agency, my client has been receiving referrals for employment assistance and support for basic needs and clothing. Additionally, she has been working closely with a life coach to navigate these challenging times and rebuild her life. Client shared with us that her daughter's 10th birthday is coming up on May 17th. Despite her financial struggles, she wishes to provide her daughter with a memorable birthday celebration at Urban Air. This gesture is incredibly important to her, as she wants her daughter to experience joy and create lasting memories, free from the burden of their current financial situation. Your generous support will not only bring happiness to a young girl on her special day but also provide a moment of relief and joy for a mother who is striving to overcome her challenges. This request will directly impact my client and her family, offering them a day of happiness and respite from their daily struggles. Local single mother of one could really use our support right now. She’s currently working part-time while actively seeking full-time employment. Unfortunately, she lost her food stamp benefits about a month ago and is struggling to support her household. We’re hoping to gather funds so she can purchase groceries for her and her child get through the next 2-4 weeks. A gift card would make a big difference for her family. The client is a 46-year-old single mother of a six-year-old autistic, nonverbal son who requires constant care and supervision. They currently reside in transitional housing provided through a shelter, with accommodation secured for the next six months. The client is unemployed and relies solely on the limited income allocated for her son’s disability. After purchasing essential items such as disposable diapers, PediaSure, and other necessities, there is little to no money left for transportation costs, including gas needed to attend her son's daily ABA therapy sessions. The client has a minimal to no support system. The child’s father abandoned them during infancy, leaving her as the sole caregiver. She is urgently seeking employment to secure stable housing before her time at the shelter ends. The client is requesting financial assistance in the form of a gas gift card to ensure consistent transportation to her son’s therapy and medical appointments. Payment assistance for her cell phone bill, which is her primary means of communication with her son's doctors and therapists. Support in maintaining her vehicle insurance to ensure she can continue transporting her son to necessary services. The client would be appreciative of any assistance that can be provided.

2 yr old girl is moving placements and the new placement needs a crib. She is being placed on 4/25 so it will need to be delivered by then. Could accept a pack n play for short term use if needed.

Forsyth County DFCS is requesting financial assistance to help pay for unexpected car repairs for a kinship provider. She uses this car to transport the children to and from school and is not able to pay for the entire cost of the repair bill.

I am currently working with a single mother on my caseload who is in urgent need of rental assistance. She is pregnant with a due date in June, and has recently been laid off from her job. Although she has secured rent for the month of May, she will not be able to cover June’s rent due to her upcoming delivery and loss of income.

This mother is raising two children, a 16-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son, and is doing her best to prepare for the arrival of her newborn while managing the household on her own. With no current income and a baby expected in early June, she is facing significant financial strain.

Rental assistance for the month of June would greatly relieve some of the pressure she is experiencing and allow her to focus on her recovery and caring for her children during this critical time. Your support would make a meaningful difference in the stability and well-being of this family.

We have a mom that is actively participating in the Mothers Advocacy Project. She is currently in Phase Two of our three-phase trauma intervention program. Mom is working hard to be the best version of herself for her teenage child. Mom is doing her best to provide for her family but recently evicted from her apartment due to a recent job loss. She has been able to secure a new job but has not yet received her first paycheck. We would like to provide mom and her children with a week stay at a motel so she can have safe shelter for her and her children while she works to find permanent housing for the family.
