A guardian that I'm working with has recently been working towards cleaning up her home, reorganizing, and making improvements so that it's safer for her now walking/exploring grandchild to live in. When moving around the older appliances she noticed that she would need to re-treat for insects. Her child will be returning to the home soon so she does have more that she'll be moving/organizing in the next week. Due to her being on a fixed income we're asking for help with supplies to address the insects currently until she's done reorganizing completely and she can get a company back out to spray. We are also asking for help to buy a baby gate. She has found a 80" baby gate to separate her now walking grandchild from the kitchen area to increase safety within the home.

I am requesting support to help a family with limited income, including three children ages 16, 11, and 9. The family is in need of a window AC unit for their living room/common area of the household. If anyone has knowledge of a used unit available, or is willing to contribute financially towards this need, it would be greatly appreciated to enhance this family's quality of life on these hot days! This is a request to assist with rent payment. This family is close to being reunified. Please assist with the late rent payment of $875 so this family can retain a residence for a child to return. FCDSS will work with this family to ensure rent payments can be made for the future.

FCDSS is working with a single father who has struggled with addiction. As a result of his substance use, homelessness and other barriers his children were placed into foster care. He has struggled with his substance use. He has struggled with maintaining employment due to lack of transportation. The agency held a family partnership meeting to discuss barriers, needs and ways to meet and overcome these challenges. Since this father does not have valid license, the team suggested a bicycle or electric bicycle as a means of transportation, and he is willing to utilize anything to help him be mobile for his substance use treatment and employment. He has shown motivation and willingness to engage in services. FCDSS is asking if there are any churches that have a bicycle that is not being used that would be willing to be donated or even an electric bicycle.

I am currently working with a family of five, with three children ages 10, 9, and 4. The oldest child has extensive medical needs that require the family to transport him to multiple appointments on a weekly basis. As they are working with a limited income, we are requesting help to contribute towards fuel/gas expenses. Any support would be greatly appreciated!

I have posted regarding this family earlier this week, however we are still needing assistance with getting the family into a hotel for the next two weeks. This is to support and help the family be able to save more of their money for the children and more permanent housing as the father had previously been using his daily paychecks for hotel stays.

***I am currently working with a family who is experiencing homelessness. The family has four children total, and the mother is currently 6 months pregnant as well. The children are 4 years old, almost 3 years old, 1 year old, and 7 months old. The father is currently working daily as well as attempting to pick up as much over time as he can. We are currently working closely with the family regarding getting into an apartment, however this process may take a couple of weeks. The family is very thankful for any help they receive and would be willing to meet with anyone regarding assistance.

Single grandmother who is on fixed income has custody of her grandchildren. She recently requested assistance with AEP bill due to having to put extra funds towards several car repairs this month (two new tires, brakes, universal joint shaft). Her light bill is not in termination but due by the end of the week. Grandmother also has had her stove quit working due to something within the stove sparking and is unable to find the piece required to repair it. Asking for assistance with AEP and possible donation of stove. This grandmother has one child in her home who is under the age of 18 and one who just turned 18yrs old a couple weeks ago. Grandmother has been unable to use stove to cook any meals.

I have a family in need a size 4 diapers for their four children (any brand works, they currently use Parent's Choice). The family is also in need of a car seat for one of the children, specifically a 5-point harness for a toddler (possibly a convertible one if available). Single mother who is currently working a substance use recovery court program has recently found housing. Her only child has been in foster care as a result of substance use. Mother is in need of a washer, dryer, plates and other household items. Looking for donations of a washer and dryer and any available household items. The mother has worked extremely hard in her recovery and is close to return home goal and these items will help her be able to have appropriate housing for her and her son to begin trial home placement.

This female teenager has found a great placement at a home where her friend also lives. She is in need of a full sized mattress. She already has the platform/bed frame so no box spring is needed. We hope this will be the final touch to help her feel comfortable at her new home.
