We have a single grandmother fostering her three young grandchildren at this time. Grandmother has her bills on autopay every month but due to an error with the bank, OGE has not been receiving the payments for some time. Grandmother now owes a large amount but is in need of a deposit to be able to make a payment arrangement. Grandmother is not working at this time due to health issues so we are hoping to find some financial assistance for her so that she can start the payment arrangement process and continue to focus on her health. A single parent foster home has a child with higher needs to which she has to leave work daily to pick the child up to attend therapy then commute back to work. This request is for funds or a gift card to help put towards gas for this daily commute as therapy does not have a foreseeable end date and additional support is needed for the home. Any contribution to this would be much appreciated to this very deserving family.

This request is for a kinship family who has 1 biological child and 2 foster children. The foster parents are fostering their two youngest brothers, one of whom is autistic. The youngest child has been hospitalized for almost a week with rhinovirus, strep, pneumonia, and something that is causing the child to have a rash. The family has been struggling to pay their utility bill the past month and has not reached out for help until now as the child being in the hospital is their priority. The family has received a cut off notice. Their total bill is $476.10 however, we are just asking for the disconnect fee of $259 to be covered to avoid services getting shut off.

A mother and her five children have moved into a safe home provided by Homeless Alliance. The oldest child, a 14-year old, would like to contribute to the household income by working this summer. He had the idea to mow yards in his neighborhood to provide some extra income for the family. He is a hard worker and helps his mother a lot with her four other children. Providing him with a lawn mower would give him a way to be productive this summer!

This is a request for help obtaining tickets for day admission to the OKC Zoo. A mother and her three children ages (7, 6, & 4) have been in trial reunification for two months. Maternal grandmother also resides in the home and is an added support for the family. They are on a very fixed income and during a home visit with CASA, the mother mentioned she would love to be able to take the kids to the zoo, but that it would be too expensive. The children's basic needs are being met, but extra outings that would provide family fun and enrich their lives, are simply out of reach for this young family. If a church is able to donate tickets for the family, I am confident the family would have the time of their lives. These kiddos have never been to a zoo. This request is for neighbors of RestoreOKC. This is an older couple raising their teenage children ages 13, and 14 who need household furniture for the whole house, and they also need rental assistance. The mother and father are unable to work due to health conditions. The father receives SSI, and it was recently stolen, and SSI is doing an investigation on the report. So, this has put the family behind for rent from last month. RestoreOKC would love for a church to come along and help this family with support, love and kindness.

I have a single father of 4, he has a job and a vehicle but the air conditioning in his Dodge Durango needs repaired. OKDHS is recommending reunification for the client and his children. Currently, my client travels to and from to pick-up and bring the children back to the foster home on weekends for unsupervised visits. With the temperature warming up, the children will need A/C in the vehicle during the long car rides to and from. Any assistance with the a/c repair will be greatly appreciated.

Hello. We have a foster mother that needs some help with taking care of the enrollment costs for a summer daycare for a kiddo she will be taking care of. This is an emergency placement that she has agreed to for a very special little kiddo that has level 3 autism and a lot of needs. She has agreed to not only take placement, but to also assist with higher level educational and therapeutic needs that the child has. Due to the emergency situation of the placement, she has asked for assistance in getting the kiddo situated for daycare in the summer so that she can still work and knows that this kiddo is getting the care throughout the day that she needs. She is working to secure the place at camp before school is out to ensure that the kiddo gets in, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, a single foster mother needs help taking care of the fee for a daycare deposit. She has agreed to take one of our very special kiddos who has level 3 autism due to an emergency placement request. She has been trying to get everything ready to take care of this kiddo for us and is working to meet all the needs, along with having 2 of her own kiddos. She just needs some assistance in securing a daycare spot for our kiddo when school starts back up again. This little kiddo is very difficult to place due to her high level needs, and this foster mother has agreed to not only take care of her, but to also help us in making sure that all of her therapeutic and educational needs are met over and beyond what we could expect. She is just asking for a little help in trying to get things going on such short notice. Thank you.

This family is a family of 5. The mother is a single mom who has recently been reunified with her 4 children. The mother is currently working and has just recently saved up enough money to purchase herself a vehicle. The vehicle has helped the mom be able to provide safe transportation to get her children to and from school and to all of their services, and her job. Due to all of the recent changes and the purchasing of her car, the mother has come up short of her rent payment. She is still in need of $550 for the month of April. A mother and father need bus passes to get to and from services and family time with their child. The mother and father have been attempting to complete services but transportation is a big barrier. The bus passes would help the mother and father get one step closer to reunification.

A 12-year-old female youth is currently placed in a kinship home with her brother. As this placement came together quickly, he was not fully prepared for her stay, and she is currently without proper storage for her clothing. Most of her clothes remain in bags at this time. With your support, we can help make her living situation more comfortable by providing a dresser or storage solution to meet her basic needs.
