Mom needs assistance funding a driver's education course in order to reliably transport her children to daycare and doctor's appointments, as well as transport herself to work.

Mother is in need of some items for her household. Mother is working and has been able to obtain some items for her home but is still in need of items to complete her residence as she progresses to reunification with her child. Items will help mother as her child returns to the residence full time. Mother could also use a gift card to stock her home with additional food items for herself and child.

Mother is working towards reunification with child. Items are needed to help the child transition to the home full time. Mother will start overnight weekend visitation with the child in the month of August. Mother is in need of a crib and mattress for the child. These items will help the transition to full time placement with mother.

Caregiver is in need of care repairs. Caregiver is transporting child to visits with mom from Austin to Bryan. At this time caregiver is not able to drive long distances with the car repairs needs. It would benefit the caregiver to have her car repaired as she is the primary caregiver for the child at this time and does not want to get stranded with the child in the car. Caregiver is working and able to cover some of the cost of the repairs and is able to do the repairs herself to save on labor charges.

Pregnant single mother of 7 children needing help with housing assistant. The mother has been in a hotel while waiting on housing. A place has been found but she has a balance of $160 that needs to be paid before she can be accepted and moved in.

I have a child on my caseload that is diagnosed with auto immune disorder. Next Friday 07/18/2025 he will have a procedure at Texas Children's Hospital. Grandfather requested a gas card to assist with transporting the child there as well as a couple of back and forth trips due to the child having to stay a few nights. Anything helps. Thank you!

I have a family on my caseload refrigerator go out over the weekend. Their food has spoiled but at this time is in need of a refrigerator. Any thing helps. Thank you!

A single mother of 4 children two of them being severely autistic needing help with her rent for the month in July. The mother was facing eviction, and the department was able to pay $1000 to slow down the process but she still needs an additional $800. The mother has been unable to work due not having childcare for her autistic children and being on the waitlist for CCMS. She was door dashing until about a month ago when her car broke down.

The department is assisting the mother with childcare.

Parents are requesting assistance on their utility bill for the month of April. Previous request was made by previous caseworker but due to lack of Supervisor, it was never approved.

Nine-month-old child is able to be moved from a licensed foster home to a kinship home, which would maintain family connections for the child. The kinship home is in need of a small crib for this child to have their own sleeping space, as they have outgrown the bassinet previously used.

I have a family in need of assistance. This family has a 9 year old with behavioral challenges and last week she unfortunately wrecked the family's brand new vehicle. The grandparents used to have to rent a vehicle with enough space for all six children until buying this new vehicle. They have had the car now for almost three weeks. At this time with insurance there is a $1,000 deductible but the family is also looking for cheaper routes to take and the vehicle is scheduled on the 16th of the month for a quote without insurance.
