I'm working with a family that is in need of some assistance with paying for an exterminator to treat roach infestation. The family consists of 3 children ages 5-12 and two adults.

A guardian that I'm working with has recently been working towards cleaning up her home, reorganizing, and making improvements so that it's safer for her now walking/exploring grandchild to live in. When moving around the older appliances she noticed that she would need to re-treat for insects. Her child will be returning to the home soon so she does have more that she'll be moving/organizing in the next week. Due to her being on a fixed income we're asking for help with supplies to address the insects currently until she's done reorganizing completely and she can get a company back out to spray. We are also asking for help to buy a baby gate. She has found a 80" baby gate to separate her now walking grandchild from the kitchen area to increase safety within the home.

The guardian is an older mother (61 years old) and her daughter is 13 years old. The guardian is a single mother who seeks to support her daughter with her emotional, physical, and mental health needs. The guardian is transitioning to her own home after living in a homeless shelter for a few months. She was able to experience support and have her needs met while there, and is in need of tangible items to help support her in this new chapter of independence.

Mother of five having to relocate herself and five children. Requesting help with mattresses and bedding for said mattresses. Mother has bunkbeds that are being delivered today for the home.

I am requesting support to help a family with limited income, including three children ages 16, 11, and 9. The family is in need of a window AC unit for their living room/common area of the household. If anyone has knowledge of a used unit available, or is willing to contribute financially towards this need, it would be greatly appreciated to enhance this family's quality of life on these hot days! A niece has recently volunteered to care for her younger cousin to keep her out of foster care, and asks for help with clothing. The girl is 15 years old and needs shirts and pants.

The family's home recently had a fire and some of the children's items were destroyed. They are unable to live in their home at this time. The mother is a single caring for three children while working full time. At this point, they are staying in hotels. The Red Cross paid for one week at the hotel. Any help is appreciated.

This is a request to assist with rent payment. This family is close to being reunified. Please assist with the late rent payment of $875 so this family can retain a residence for a child to return. FCDSS will work with this family to ensure rent payments can be made for the future.

FCDSS is working with a single father who has struggled with addiction. As a result of his substance use, homelessness and other barriers his children were placed into foster care. He has struggled with his substance use. He has struggled with maintaining employment due to lack of transportation. The agency held a family partnership meeting to discuss barriers, needs and ways to meet and overcome these challenges. Since this father does not have valid license, the team suggested a bicycle or electric bicycle as a means of transportation, and he is willing to utilize anything to help him be mobile for his substance use treatment and employment. He has shown motivation and willingness to engage in services. FCDSS is asking if there are any churches that have a bicycle that is not being used that would be willing to be donated or even an electric bicycle.

I am currently working with a family of five, with three children ages 10, 9, and 4. The oldest child has extensive medical needs that require the family to transport him to multiple appointments on a weekly basis. As they are working with a limited income, we are requesting help to contribute towards fuel/gas expenses. Any support would be greatly appreciated!

A single mother is suffering from postpartum depression and residing at the Rescue Mission. Her child is one month old, born June 6. The mother has no support as she grew up in foster care herself. This is her first child and the biological father is not involved. The Rescue Mission makes this new mother wake up and start chores by 445 am. The mother is suffering from lack of sleep as she has a newborn and is forced to leave the Mission every day by 9 am and not able to return until 3 pm. This forces the tired mother to take her infant often times to the library where she spends the entire day until she is able to return to the Mission. But even then, she is not allowed to access her bed until 7 pm. The mother does not use substances. Any support is helpful to this mother, but ideally would benefit most from a sponsor. Once the child is old enough, the mother would like to return back to work if she is able.

Single female has taken in two of her niece's girls, ages 2 and 1. She is in the process of doing kinship foster care for the children. She has had to take off work to care for the two children, get them set up with different providers, and get them to a number of medical appointments. She states that Pampers diapers and hypoallergenic wipes would be very helpful. She also stated that a toybox to store the girl's toys would be helpful because of the small space they are all in. 4-5t diapers (Pampers brand) 5-6t diapers (Pampers brand) Hypoallergenic wipes (any brand)
