Rivers Crossing Community Church

There is a set of (11 yrs old) twin boys who live with their grandmother who holds custody of them. Grandma works part time. The children have some special needs and mental health issues. The family is compliant with the agency being involved however need some additional supports.

Grandma needs help with clothes for the boys for the upcoming school year due to them out growing their old clothes. This would include, socks, underwear, shirts, shorts, pants, jackets, and potentially shoes if possible.

One child wears 12/14 sized clothing, with a shoes size 5. The other child is 14 husky, with a shoe size 5.

We are working with a 2 parent household with 4 children; 1 child is a newborn. The family home does not have air conditioning and with the temperatures currently over 90 degrees, the family is in need of fans for their 2-story apartment. The family is also in need of fly traps/strips due to the amount of flies that come in through open windows and the door being opened as there is no air conditioning. We are hopeful that these needs will support the family enough that alternative placement is not necessary. The fans show between $50-$100 each on Amazon, and fly strips are around $10-$25 per a 4 pack. Thank you!

Backpacks & BBQ is an annual outreach event hosted by Middletown Nazarene Church that brings together our church, community, and local partners to support students and families preparing for the school year. We provide free backpacks, serve a full cookout-style meal, and offer a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for children in need in our community.

Each summer, hundreds of neighbors come together at our church for this day of joy and generosity. Children leave ready to start school with confidence and dignity — and families leave knowing they are seen, supported, and loved.

As part of this event, we want to provide sanitary and hygiene products for the students, so they can go back to school with confidence.

Single father of a 13 year old daughter and two boys ages 9 and 4 seeking assistance with 2 bills so that father may put more money towards rent. Father is in need of 200 for a Duke bill and 195 towards a cell bill so he can pay his 2300 mortgage payment and rent payment. Father has gained custody of his children in a recent divorce where mother was charged with domestic violence. Father has sole custody and is also paying for the mortgage of the marital home and rent for the property he has attained to keep himself and the children at until the courts can settle the marital finances. Father works full time and is seeking assistance with these bills to help him pay mortgage and rent along with meeting the children's basic needs. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

We’re walking alongside a resilient single mom of two young children who has recently moved out of shelter and is working hard to build a stable home. One of her current challenges is providing a safe space for her infant to stretch, play, and develop while she manages the needs of her household.

To support her in this transition, we’re requesting an Exersaucer to give her baby a secure, engaging space to grow, allowing mom a bit of relief while continuing to care well for her family.
