Although she is excited to be pregnant, she lives in a single income household and lacks the financial means to purchase necessary baby items. Please help a young mother who is recently homeless and now living in a motel with her three children, all under age 3.

The family was reported to Human Services because they continually missed medical appointments, and now we are trying to help improve their situation by meeting basic and urgent needs. The mother has no transportation, no food for the children, no storage for her belongings, and no way to wash clothes. The family is awaiting placement in a shelter (they have pending applications at 3 shelters). To stay in the hotel a few more days, the mother needs $90 per night.

Her youngest child is an 8-month old who was born premature; the child has significant weight loss and a developmental delay related to lack of nutrition. the child needs Similac Neosure Formula (yellow can) to be able to eat, a Pack and Play for safe sleep, and a stroller so the mother can take them to medical appointments and find other resources.

Additionally, this family could greatly benefit from food for the children, hotel vouchers, and long-term housing.

This young single mom (CP) of a 2 yr old moved into her first apartment in April through an income-based apartment and has a job at the mall. She's run into some really rough times and is struggling to make ends meet as her job has reduced her hours significantly and her car is not working. She is sleeping on an air mattress that goes flat every night. We are hoping to connect her with someone willing to provide a new or gently used mattress to get her off the floor. She lives in Boulder and has no transportation, so we are hoping the donor would be willing to bring to her directly. She also needs a microwave and this would help her with food preparation for her and her son.

CP is a 21 yr old single mother of almost 2yr old boy ER. She moved into her first apartment in April through an income-based apartment and has a job at the mall. Unfortunately, she was in a car accident and her car is not reliable right now and has no funds to repair it. She has been having to Uber to and from work, which is getting very expensive. So, her job has reduced her hours and demoted her until she can get more consistent with getting to work. Her support system is 90 min away, but they are who help her with her son when she does work. She could really use $200-300 in Uber gift card to help her over this hump in getting around until her car can get repaired. She is a lovely young lady who is struggling very hard these days and could use this to help her and her son. Any Uber gift card amount would be appreciated.

The Denver Human Services' GIVE Center is in urgent need of 3T/4T Pull-Ups for the children and families we serve. Each year, the GIVE Center supports nearly 4,000 clients who rely on us for essential, emergency resources—including diapers. Many of the parents and caregivers who visit the GIVE Center struggle to access diapers due to financial hardship, especially as diaper prices continue to rise. Ensuring these families have access to the right diaper sizes helps protect the health and well-being of their children. The Denver Human Services’ Give Center is seeking can openers to support food access for the children and families we serve. The Give Center serves close to 4,000 clients a year who need emergent resources – which include food. We provide individuals and the families we serve with food, including canned goods. Many of the parents, caregivers, and individuals who visit the GIVE Center lack access to a can opener, limiting their options when selecting food to take home. Having can openers readily available will help eliminate barriers and ensure that families—especially those with children—can take home more food options. A grandma is caring for her two grandchildren - a 5-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl. The grandma lives in a one-bedroom apartment. The grandma has a bunk bed frame but needs 2 twin size mattresses for the two children. If this need is met, the children will have their own bed rather than having to share the bed with grandma or sleep on the small couch.

Youth could benefit from translation earphones so he could go to school or a GED program. Because of the language barrier he is getting educational neglect. A nine-year-old girl a being placed with maternal grandmother as parents are incarcerated. There is no other family that is able to step in, so the grandmother has agreed to open her home and care for the child. The grandmother is on disability income and resides in a small apartment, they are needing an air mattress, clothing and pajamas.

This foster family has two teen girls who they would love to take on camping trips with them. Both girls have never gone camping and the providers love to enjoy the beautiful outdoors of Colorado. They are in need of a sleeping bag for each girl and tent they can share in order to make these trips happen. Any help would be appreciated!

A teen in foster care is going into her senior year of high school and needs to get senior pictures done. Her father cannot afford to pay for this service. Looking for someone to donate their services or a monetary gift to help with a session.
