A single mother who is struggling financially due to the effects of a domestic abuse situation, is in need of clothing for her kids and some household items. All children and their mother are under a lot of stress due to PTSD now that they are in a safe place. Items can be new or gently used.

Clothing sizes:

14 yr old girl- Shirts: Blouses: Women’s Small-Medium, Tshirts: Women’s Large. Pants: Medium or Size 4 Shoe: Size 7.5 women’s

13 yr old girl- Shirts: Women’s small Pants: Small or size 2-4 Shoe: Size 7 women’s

12 yr old girl- Shirts: Women’s Medium Pants: Medium or Size 4 Shoes: Size 7.5 women’s

10 yr old boy- Shirts & Pants: Youth size Medium or Boys 10/12 Shoes: Boys youth Size: 4.5

Household items needed (New or gently used):

• Bath towels -Twin and queen size fitted sheets -Sheet pans for cooking/baking -Large frying pan -Coffee maker

A single mother is currently facing serious financial hardship as she struggles to provide for her three children. Despite her persistent efforts, she has been unable to secure employment. The family is now behind on their TXU utility bill in the amount of $257.46, and they are at imminent risk of having their electricity disconnected.

This loss of service would have a serious impact on the children’s well-being and safety, especially in extreme temperatures. Without electricity, the family would be without air conditioning, refrigeration for food, and basic lighting—all of which are essential to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children.

Any assistance to help this family keep their utilities on would make a meaningful difference in ensuring the children's stability, comfort, and security during this difficult time. Your support is deeply appreciated.

I have a mother with 4 children ages 8y, 12y, 13y and 17y who needs assistance with paying rent to avoid eviction. The mother is gainfully employed full-time. The mother has a child with autism and works from home. The mother hasn’t been able to pay the full balance of her rent, as they do not take partial payments. The mother is currently behind for the months of May, June and July and is facing eviction with nowhere to go at this time due to shelters being full to capacity. Helping this family get caught up on rent will keep the family from being displaced.

The home has not been thoroughly cleaned and the family can no longer contain it without assistance. It is important that the home is cleaned for the infant's well-being.

Mom has recently been successfully discharged from rehab and is not employed. She is needing a toddler bed for her 14-month-old and 2T-4T pull-ups if possible.

The 2-year-old child has special needs. There is a 1-year-old sibling that does not have special needs. The father is the primary caregiver for the children and he resides with his "fictive" parents. The father is currently caring for the fictive grandfather due to major health problems and is not gainfully employed. The Department assisted the family with finding daycare so that the father can find employment more quickly. At the moment, the father relies on the fictive grandparent's income and his son's disability income to meet all their financial needs.

There is an infestation of roaches in the home and the home is very dirty and needs to be cleaned to ensure that the baby is able to thrive.

This mother is doing everything she can to get back on her feet after surviving a deeply traumatic domestic violence relationship. She is the caregiver of her one-year-old child and is currently pregnant, preparing to bring another life into the world while still navigating the emotional and financial aftermath of abuse. Despite the overwhelming challenges she faces, she continues to show strength, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to creating a safe, stable, and loving environment for her children. She is in current need of support and resources to help her rebuild and move forward not just to survive, but to thrive.

The family is needing clothing after moving from a different county after being homeless. There are three children age ranges from 15, 6, and 3. Their sizes are: 3-year-old: 3-4T shoe size 7 6-year-old: 7T shoe size 13 15-year-old: 38x34 pants, XL shirt, shoe size 11.

Mother and two daughters ages 12 and 5 years old have just moved into their new apartment. Mother has been going through some challenging times, and she is attempting to rebuild a stable environment for her two daughters. Please help strengthen this family by providing a small washer and dryer for this family. Mother is working towards securing employment and is in need of extra support from her community. Helping her would alleviate some stress that the family is currently facing.

I currently have two foster kids who have been returned to their mother and are in need of some dressers for their clothes/rooms. Children are 6 and 12 years old. The family has struggled with keeping the home clean and organized and the dressers will help both the kids and the mother with keeping the home organized.
