Help Strengthen a Bio Family
We are reaching out on behalf of a young mom who is currently on strict bed rest due to a high-risk pregnancy. She is in the final stages of her pregnancy and preparing to welcome her baby girl very soon. Because of her medical condition, she is unable to move around or prepare for the baby on her own.
She has recently graduated high school and is living with her father's family, as her parents are not present to support her during this time. It’s an incredibly vulnerable and scary season for her, and we’re hoping to help ease some of the stress.
The only item she still needs is a car seat and travel system duo to be ready to safely bring her baby home. If anyone is able to help fulfill this urgent need, it would mean the world to her and her family.
Thank you so much for considering supporting this strong and courageous young mom. ( please reach out to me for the link for he car seat travel system )

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
Three children, currently sleep on air mattresses. The mattresses become deflated often and the children end up on the floor by morning time, disrupting their sleep when they have to be well rested for school. Mother has made attempts to patch the holes and at times has had to purchase new air mattresses as they are more affordable than purchasing and actual mattress and bed. The mother is a single parent and is currently not working as she is trying to stabilize her children's lives. The mother is trying to enroll in school to be able to start a career and get a better job to provide for her children. The mother is looking to go back to work, but she has to find a new location as the father continues to look for the mother and there is a restraining order.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
$91.45 for remaining church camp balance Brief description: Caregivers are requesting $91.45 to help cover the remaining balance for her 11-year-old grandson’s Youth Summer Camp with Future SD. As a Kinship caregiver, has taken on the responsibility of providing care and stability for her grandson. The YMCA Kinship Support Program was able to contribute $358.55 toward the total camp cost of $450.00. However, the remaining balance of $91.45 is still a financial challenge for the family. This support would allow her grandson to participate fully in a safe, enriching summer camp experience while also helping Jacqueline maintain financial stability as she continues to meet the needs of her kinship placement.

Alleviate Food/Essentials Insecurity
A resilient single mother of three is working hard to rebuild her life after being displaced by the Eaton Fire. For the past four years, she has been employed at Northgate Market, demonstrating dedication and perseverance. Unfortunately, the fire devastated her home and forced her to relocate from Altadena to Bell, CA, where she has just secured a new apartment lease for her and her children. While she has received some limited support through 211, her efforts to receive additional help through FEMA have been met with ongoing challenges. She has depleted all of her savings just to secure a safe home for her children. Now, as they begin this new chapter, the family is in urgent need of the following essentials: A refrigerator to safely store food, A bunk bed set and twin bed to ensure the children have a comfortable place to sleep, New clothes for all three children, who have been rotating through the same small set of clothing for several months and are now quickly growing out of them This mother is doing all she can to provide for her family despite unimaginable loss. Help Improve a Child's Wellbeing
In partnership with the Santee School District, we’re seeking support to help a local student attend summer volleyball camps. The hope is to have the student enrolled in summer volleyball camps to support her social, emotional and behavioral learning over the summer. This student has struggled with attendance due to bullying and social skill development. The student expressed a desire to learn how to play volleyball. They believe by providing her with this opportunity to meet other local teens, learn new skills and have fun this summer she will gain much needed self-esteem and confidence skills that will support her as she transitions to her 8th grade school year. The student currently lives with her grandmother. One parent resides out of state, and the other lives in a different area of San Diego, limiting her support network. Given her circumstances, we are seeking assistance to cover the full cost of enrollment in all three volleyball camps, totaling $600.00. The first camp ($200) begins next week on June 16th, and we are hopeful that with support, we can get her enrolled in time.

Help Improve a Child's Safety/Wellbeing
This request is needed as the children in the home are experiencing an ongoing lice issue. The father is the sole provider for the family, however, his work hours have been recently reduced, making it difficult to meet the family's basic needs and access to ongoing lice treatment. Additionally, the family would greatly benefit from receiving three new beds, along with sheets, blankets, and pillows as the current bedding is old and worn. Providing these items will help improve the family's living conditions and support the children's well-being during this difficult time.

Help Strengthen a Bio Family
A mother of three children under the age of 5 is facing an urgent crisis. She has been unemployed since April and, despite her best efforts, all financial resources have been completely exhausted. Her June rent of $1,100 is past due, and she is in immediate need to avoid homelessness for her and her children. She is not giving up, she has secured a new job and will begin work on Monday, June 16th, but her first paycheck will not arrive in time to cover this critical need. The apartment manager is giving her until next week to pay her rent, but if she can’t, her and her 3 young kids will be evicted and will be on the street. We are asking for urgent help to keep this mom and her young kids in their apartment and not become homeless. In addition to rent, she also needs assistance with diapers, as well as gas to get her to and from her new job. Any amount will help and is appreciated. Please consider donating and giving this mom time to start her new job so she can provide safety and stability for her children again. Please select “FUND” when giving a cash donation and select "Provide" when donating an item.

Help Preserve a Kinship Placement
We have a family who is struggling financially as the adult sister, has become the legal guardian for her younger sister. In addition, she being the legal guardian, the adult sister is a single mother who has opened her doors/home to her sister. The family is in need of a twin over twin metal bunkbed, two twin mattress and two twin comforter sets. By providing these basic necessities, it would diminish the emotional stressors on the family. By fulfilling this request, it would help the Department reduce the family's financial burden and help prevent court involvement and ensure family stability. Please note that based on the needed items, two SEPARATE REQUESTS ARE BEING MADE FOR THIS FAMILY. (One request for the twin over twin bunkbed, and the second request for two twin mattresses and the bedding spiderman and duvet set)
