We are reaching out on behalf of a 15-year-old girl who has recently been reunified with her mother after enduring significant challenges. She has faced numerous unimaginable traumas at her age. Despite these hardships, she is working to rebuild her life with her mother, who is also navigating her own difficulties. At the moment, this young girl is sleeping in a lofted bunk bed, which is no longer suitable for her. We are seeking a bed frame, mattress, and bedding set to provide her with a safe and comfortable space to rest. It doesn’t need to be brand new—just gently used and clean.

We are reaching out on behalf of a family who has been receiving non-judicial case management services for nearly a year. This family, despite their best efforts, is struggling to make ends meet each month. The parents work hard—mom and uncle are both servers—but the family’s financial situation is challenging. With dad currently out of work and the family relying on just one vehicle, they face many obstacles.

The youngest child, who is still in a crib, has started throwing herself back in her crib and repeatedly hitting her head on the wooden sides. This has raised serious safety concerns for the family. While the parents are doing well and are working hard to improve their circumstances, they are in need of a gently used Pack and Play for the child to ensure a safer sleep environment.

If anyone has a Pack-and-Play that they no longer need, we would be incredibly grateful for a donation. It does not need to be brand new, but we kindly ask that it be gently used and clean.

Mom, husband and children move from North Carolina. The youngest child has been diagnosed with Autism. Due to personal relocation reasons family is currently residing in an Extended Stay hotel. Mom is currently 34 weeks pregnant due to no current insurance with the assistant with Healthy Start is now connected with an OB. Father is working 2 full time jobs to support the family. The family has no car for transportation this has made it difficult to make it to appointments. The family having no transportation is resulting in the family barely having the opportunity to leave the hotel it is a 4 to 5 miles walking distance to go anywhere. Due to current financial situation the family is very limited on purchasing items for newborn, as of date mom has no baby items: Current situation is causing mental health concerns for mother, mental health services are readily available for mom and family. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to strengthen this bio family and most important providing infant a safe environment to thrive and facilitate in practicing safe sleep and SIDS reduction. Mom was a very active citizen in her community ministering to families and youth all over the world.

We have a 15-year-old child who has recently entered the care system under specific circumstances. His behavior has been challenging for family members and other care facilities to manage. Currently, he is receiving a variety of services and counseling. Recently, he has expressed an interest in photography and college, which we believe could be a positive outlet for him.

To support his interest, we’re looking for a camera—nothing extravagant, just something he can use to practice and develop his photography skills. If anyone has a camera they no longer use and is willing to donate, or if you know of any affordable options, it would be greatly appreciated.

We understand this may seem like an unusual request, but anything that helps him focus on something positive, have fun, and take his mind off the challenges he’s faced would mean a lot. Thank you for your consideration!

We have a situation where the child has been potentially moved to a long-term caregiver's home following a DCF inadequate supervision incident. The child's father deals with long-term substance abuse and is not currently able to care for the child(ren). The youngest victim child is staying with a family member here in St. John's County. The case is currently under investigation. The safety monitor and caregiver live in a home with 2 beds. The child victim is currently staying on a couch in the living room. We are asking for a bunkbed for the two children in the home, so the child does not have to sleep on the couch following this incident.

We are seeking a gas card for a family living in St. Johns County. The family is comprised of 4 children and 2 adults - all children are elementary-aged. They are all excited to be visiting family in the northeast this summer; however, extraneous circumstances have made saving for the trip especially difficult. The family could greatly use a gas card to help cover the cost of gas to and from their family out of state. By supporting this request, we can help a family of young children build core summer memories, help hard-working parents refresh their energy, and strengthen their bond with their extended family.

This child came into care due to a neglect situation. He came into care with our agency when he suffered a spiral leg fracture and broken jaw on separate occasions while in the care of his mother. He was placed with his aunt and uncle and has been residing with them since the removal. He is in need of a big-boy bed (twin) mattress, bedding, and frame.

This family has been working with our non-judicial unit for a while now and making great progress. The mother is blind, we requested some fans for their home but they did not end up moving like we originally were hoping. So now, we are requesting a bit more of a substantial and permanent solution for their home. IF we can get 1-2 window A/C units that would be amazing. The fans have helped circulate the air and have been extremely helpful and will continue to be used. But cool air would be awesome for them.
