Single mom who moved out of a domestic violence situation in with her elderly mother with her son. Mother needs ways to get around.

Mother is asking for an adult bike and a 20’ bike for her son to get him to school and herself to work.

Mother has a drivers license and could use a car if someone wants to gift one to the family.

Mom, husband and children move from North Carolina. The youngest child has been diagnosed with Autism. Due to personal relocation reasons family is currently residing in an Extended Stay hotel. Mom is currently 34 weeks pregnant due to no current insurance with the assistant with Healthy Start is now connected with an OB. Father is working 2 full time jobs to support the family. The family has no car for transportation this has made it difficult to make it to appointments. The family having no transportation is resulting in the family barely having the opportunity to leave the hotel it is a 4 to 5 miles walking distance to go anywhere. Due to current financial situation the family is very limited on purchasing items for newborn, as of date mom has no baby items: Current situation is causing mental health concerns for mother, mental health services are readily available for mom and family. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated to strengthen this bio family and most important providing infant a safe environment to thrive and facilitate in practicing safe sleep and SIDS reduction. Mom was a very active citizen in her community ministering to families and youth all over the world.

We have a 15-year-old child who has recently entered the care system under specific circumstances. His behavior has been challenging for family members and other care facilities to manage. Currently, he is receiving a variety of services and counseling. Recently, he has expressed an interest in photography and college, which we believe could be a positive outlet for him.

To support his interest, we’re looking for a camera—nothing extravagant, just something he can use to practice and develop his photography skills. If anyone has a camera they no longer use and is willing to donate, or if you know of any affordable options, it would be greatly appreciated.

We understand this may seem like an unusual request, but anything that helps him focus on something positive, have fun, and take his mind off the challenges he’s faced would mean a lot. Thank you for your consideration!

We are seeking a gas card for a family living in St. Johns County. The family is comprised of 4 children and 2 adults - all children are elementary-aged. They are all excited to be visiting family in the northeast this summer; however, extraneous circumstances have made saving for the trip especially difficult. The family could greatly use a gas card to help cover the cost of gas to and from their family out of state. By supporting this request, we can help a family of young children build core summer memories, help hard-working parents refresh their energy, and strengthen their bond with their extended family.

An expectant mother of two (boys aged 5 and 3 years old) could use assistance obtaining baby items. The client is expecting a baby girl. The client is currently unemployed but is enrolled in school full time to better her future. The client is behind on rent and other expenses and is worried about not being able to purchase baby necessities. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

She is experiencing hardship and is doing her best to make ends meet.

A hispanic family of 5 is in need of two dressers. One to organize clothes and one for medical supplies. The family has a child with serious medical problems and requires a lot of extra medications, feeding tubes, etc. These dresser will help the family out very much!

Support Needed for Our Student Self-Sufficiency Home

We are preparing to expand our Student Self-Sufficiency Home, a safe and supportive space for homeless and unaccompanied youth in Clay County who are 18 years old and working hard to finish high school. This home will provide stability, dignity, and the foundation they need to succeed—and we need your help to make it possible.

As we expand to serve more students, we are seeking donations of household items to furnish and equip the space. Currently, we are in need of:

2 refrigerators, 3 desks and 3 desk chairs, 1 Full Sized bed, 1 side table, and 1 dresser, 2 mattresses, 1 television, 6 pillows, 3 full-sized sheet sets and 3 comforters, 3 sets of towels and washcloths, 3 Set of Mattress Protectors, Household essentials such as laundry detergent, soap, paper products, and cleaning supplies

We kindly ask that all furniture be new or gently used, and linens and personal items (such as comforters, towels, and pillows) be new for hygiene and safety purposes.

If you’d like to support but do not have items to donate, gift cards to stores like Walmart, Target, or Amazon are also incredibly helpful and appreciated.
