In order to secure stable income and support her child’s well-being, she is requesting assistance with a bus pass to attend job interviews and, eventually, get to work.

This transition, while filled with love and hope, has also brought unexpected financial strain as they work to meet all the necessary requirements for placement. One of the final items they need is a high-back booster seat, which must be in place before their granddaughter can be officially placed with them. With so many expenses already incurred—furnishing a child’s room, securing safety items, and making their home welcoming—they are reaching out in hopes that someone in the community might be able to help with this essential need. Single mother of two children has recently relocated due to a domestic violence situation. In order to ensure her family’s safety, she had to leave most of their belongings behind, as the previous home was owned by her abuser. She has now secured a new place to live, providing her children with a fresh start in a safe environment. However, the home is still in need of essential items to help create stability and comfort — especially for the children. Her 9-year-old child is in need of a full-size bed to sleep comfortably. The mother has a queen bed frame but no mattress, and the family also needs a dinette set to have meals together, a tall dresser for clothing storage, and basic kitchenware (dishes, pots and pans, utensils) to prepare daily meals. All items can be found at Walmart, and any support in helping furnish their new home would directly contribute to the well-being and emotional recovery of the children during this transition.

Two children were moved to their father's home in Sarasota for safety reasons. The father lives in Sarasota but his children attend school in North Port. He has had to drive them to and from school every day for several weeks so they could finish out the school year in their current school which has caused a financial strain for the father and affected his work hours. He would benefit from a gas card to help with the cost of the long trips daily and less work hours.

The mom lost her job due to being sick with her new pregnancy and doesn't have the funds for these items. she has been borrowing car seats from her sister but she is needing her own. She is needing a convertible toddler seat for her one year old, a 2 in 1 booster car seat for her three year old and a 2 little boosters for her 6 and 8 year old. The mom is needing these seats to keep her kids safe in the car. The families oven is not working making it hard to cook for the kids. The mom cant afford one at this time.
