The client is unemployed, while her husband works part-time and is actively seeking another job because his income is not enough to meet their basic needs.

The client does not have any baby items and receives diapers from our Earn While You Learn program when possible. She does not have a phone and relies on the family’s only car, which her husband uses for work. I am assisting the client with her housing search, though emergency shelter programs have presented many barriers to access. This client and her family are Spanish-speaking only.

The client would greatly benefit from newborn baby items, groceries, and gas. Hello I have a mom who is in need of items for her newborn and 1 year old daughter. The newborn was born premature and is having difficulty eating. Mom is requesting Dr. Browns bottles (helps with breathing while eating), Formula (Similac Neo-sure for premature babies in the yellow/orange can), baby blankets, and crib sheets. Mom is requesting assistance with clothing and shoes for her 1-year-old daughter. The daughter wears a size 5-6 in kid's shoes, and 18–24-month-old clothing. Mom states the one-year-old is growing fast and can't keep up now that she has a newborn. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Helping a Young Girl and Her Disabled Father Build a Safe, Stable Home A single, disabled father has been living out of his car with his young daughter for the past year, facing unimaginable challenges while doing everything he can to care for her. Thanks to the kindness of a friend who successfully bid on a trailer for them in a local park, they now have the opportunity to move into a permanent, safe home. This is a critical turning point for both father and daughter — especially the child, who will finally have a stable place to sleep, play, and grow. However, they have very little in the way of household furnishings or essentials. The father is currently on a limited income, relying on Social Security benefits and cash assistance, with plans to file for child support once they are settled. These items are what is needed to put a family back together. Any assistance would be appreciated.

ERAT is working with a mother and child that are recently starting over. The mother and the child had to move out of their previous home due to violence and the mother and the child have a small studio size apartment they just moved into. The child needs extra clothing due to not being able to retrieve the families belongings before having to leave their previous home. The family needs a bunk bed with a fold out futon on the bottom to conserve space in their new apartment and provide them both with somewhere to sleep in a very small space.
