Celebrate Life Community Fellowship

I am working with a family that consists of two great grandparents and their three small great grandchildren. The parents of the great grandchildren live in a different county and are currently not employed. The great grandparents are on a fixed income and could use some assistance with diapers and wipes for the three children. The children's ages are 1, 2, and 3.

A family member has taken in her 8-month-old cousin due to her parents being incarcerated at the time. As of now, the mother was released, but her whereabouts are unknown, and the father is still incarcerated. The family member is requesting assistance in obtaining diapers (size 4) and wipes. She is also asking for assistance in getting formula for the baby, as she requires a special kind (Enfamil A.R. with added rice).

The department is working with a family that consist of a single mother with 5 children, one of which is in foster care. The family is currently unhoused and awaiting to be placed in affordable housing. A barrier that has been identified is an existing balance with the Gallatin Housing Authority. The mother needs the outstanding fees paid in order to apply for available subsidized housing. The family has tried several different avenues to get housed. They really need any support they can get.

Resource Linkage is working with a single mom of 3 who is currently working but does not have transportation. The mother has asked for help with getting her license reinstated. The family moved here from Michigan for a fresh start. The mother has a vehicle that is in need of repairs. She would like to be able to get if fixed and to drive again. The family currently relies on family, friends and bus transit to get around. This can be very taxing for a family of 4. The reinstatement fees total $576, this assistance will give mom a good start to having reliable transportation again.

The family consists of an adoptive mom, grandmother (85), and her two sons age 13 and 16. The family has lived in the same a 2-bedroom apartment for over 13 years. Both mom and children all struggle with autism and many other diagnoses. Over the years the home has collected trash and antiques that have not been clean properly and since then the home have roaches. The entire home has been infested with roaches and is need of a junk removal and deep cleaning. In the room one of the youth sleeps in is filled to the window seal with trash example pizza boxes, coke bottles, and different wrappers. The home is deemed unsafe for the children. The grandmother has adult protective services in the home, but APS have refused to come into the home due to the home having flees from the family allowing stary cats in the home. The mother has expressed due to the children having severe autism and behavioral problems she is not able to clean the home. The mother has said the home has years on trash in it and she is currently trying to get it clean since DCS is involved. DCS has implemented service in the home to assist with cleanliness of the home, but the service only does light cleaning. The family is in need of a deep cleaning and junk removal, so the kids are able to remain in the home since the family do not have any resources to get the home clean.

Resource Linkage is working with a Spanish speaking family is in need of assistance with groceries and possibly other resources. The family consists of a mother and her young daughter, the mother works but her hours have been cut back. The family is appreciative of any help, the mother does not speak English.

I am currently working with a family of six children and a mother. Their refrigerator recently broke causing all of their food to spoil. The family was able to get a new refrigerator, but the mother is not able to purchase more food at this time. The mother has gone to food banks to get food, but she was only given non-perishable items, and the family could really use some assistance in get perishable items. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The family recently moved from Wisconsin, and is trying to gain stability. The family has 2 toddlers, and do not have a stable home. Father recently found a full-time job, and mother is currently unemployed. Mother plans to find a job when daycare spots become available for the children, but there are currently no openings. Family is in need of baby items, as well as assistance with some groceries. Mother is applying for SNAP Benefit, but they haven't been activated yet. Family has access to a house they are hoping to soon rent, as the landlord is willing to work with them for their first few payments. However, the family is struggling to save money for a deposit, due to staying in hotels. I'm hoping to get them some assistance with hotel payments for a week or two, so they can save 1st months rent and a security deposit. Father will be walking to work, and the nearest hotel is the Days Inn.

Needs for children: -Diapers, baby has sensitive skin and needs either Loves or Huggies: Size 6 -Pullups, They are currently using the "Goodnights" brand found at Walmart in Size XS. It doesn't have to be this brand, but noting for size reference, as they know this is what fits. -Wipes, Huggies due to sensitive skin. -Baby Rice, no brand preferred

The mother has four children age from 2-6 years old. The mother has moved to a new community due to her being in a domestic violence relationship. The mother has obtained an order of protection against the father; the children are included also. Due to the mother recent move, she doesn't have air in her home. She is now responsible for getting an air conditioner and she has to provide her own air conditioner. The home consists of three bedrooms the two-year-old toddler doesn't have her own bed. The mother doesn't have a sofa. The mother has a job she is not able to work due to her being off work for the summer.

This family is in urgent need of a bed. Ms. Lopez, a devoted mother, is currently facing significant challenges, including struggles with depression and anxiety. At present, her two children—both of whom have special needs, including autism and a heart condition—are sharing a single bed. Despite her efforts to seek help from various community organizations, Ms. Lopez has not yet been able to secure the necessary support. The family lacks adequate sleeping arrangements, and this has created an unsafe and uncomfortable living situation. A new bed would greatly improve the family’s quality of life, offering a safe and reliable place to rest and recharge. Your support would make a meaningful difference in their daily well-being and stability.

AGAPE works with a sibling group that recently returned to the custody of their mother. Their mother is working a job as well as continuing to complete treatment services in the community. Mother has limited financial resources and would like to find something fun for the family to do together this summer. A family pass to Nashville Shores would be a blessing to this family.

Social worker is working with family to obtain beds and bedding. Two beds have been donated for the 2 youth, however, mom is sleeping on the floor. Mother reported she is doing things on her own following a divorce and is doing the best she can. Any assistance would be very appreciated.
