I am requesting assistance for a mother of four children who is rebuilding her life after domestic violence in the home. She has one daughter, age 7, and three sons, ages 7, 6, and 3. The family is in need of bunk beds and a twin size bed for the boys, who share one room, as well as dressers for both the boys’ room and the daughter’s room. Additionally, the mother is in need of basic household items, specifically pots, pans, and new dishes, to help create a stable and functional home. Providing these items would greatly support this family as they work toward a fresh start and a safe, nurturing environment for the children. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Help bring comfort and healing to three grieving siblings. Three siblings—ages 12 (female), 11 (male), and 8 (male)—are currently living in a shelter after the recent and tragic loss of their brother. This devastating event has uprooted their lives, and they are in great need of comfort and emotional support as they begin the grieving and healing process.

Meeting this need will provide the children with a sense of stability and care during this difficult transition. These items will not only meet their practical needs but also help them process their grief and create small moments of joy in a very uncertain time.

A grandmother living in Glenn Heights (Ellis County) with her three year old granddaughter was in an automobile accident during a rain storm that caused her to break two vertebrae in her spine and fracture her ribs. Her car was totaled, She is a CNA, but has been unable to work as she is recovering from her accident. She is in need of $300 to cover her utility payment. We are asking a church to be a blessing to her and see that her utility bill is paid.

Single mother of 3 with one medically fragile child is pregnant and she hasn't had a newborn in her home for 10 years. Assistance with supplies for a new baby in the home would significantly help her financially. Currently unemployed due to 1 child's severe medical needs but will be gaining employment once nursing care is secured. She can use any essential newborn items such as bottles, pacifiers, blankets, burp clothes, baby clothes, baby swing, diapers, and wipes. Mother is due in August.

I am reaching out on behalf of a Spanish-speaking single mother who is in urgent need of rental assistance. She is currently pregnant and caring for two young children—one who is 5 years old and the other just 4 months old. Although she has been working to support her family, her vehicle recently broke down, preventing her from getting to work and resulting in a loss of income. She is now struggling to pay her rent and at risk of falling behind. Due to her current citizenship status, she has had difficulty qualifying for many rental assistance programs and organizations. Any support or resources available to help her during this challenging time would be deeply appreciated.

Family in Urgent Need of Safe Housing Support.

A single mother of two—one child just 2 years old and the other 17—is currently facing unsafe living conditions in her apartment. For some time, the unit has suffered from severe structural issues, including floors caving in and a large hole in the bathtub. While the landlord has recently started repairing the hole, they’ve now discovered a leak in the apartment that may require extended repairs.

Instead of providing a safe, habitable solution, the landlord has asked the mother and her children to temporarily relocate to another unit on the property that is known to be in even worse condition. The proposed unit has been reported to be infested with rodents and presents numerous additional concerns for the family's health and safety.

In her attempt to advocate for herself and her children, the mother reached out to the local housing department. Unfortunately, the only support offered was a letter allowing her to vacate the apartment. However, with her sole income being Supplemental Security Income (SSI), she lacks the financial resources to secure a new place to live—particularly the upfront costs such as a rental deposit.

This family urgently needs support to find safe and stable housing. Assistance with a security deposit or temporary housing could make all the difference in preventing homelessness and ensuring these children can live in a clean and secure environment.

I have a single father with three children (a 2-year-old boy and twin 7-month-old boys). He currently has no income. He needs to find a job as soon as possible. He has a potential job, but they are asking him to have an Orange Vest and Brown Shoes (size 13). He needs those items so he can get the job.

The family is about to get evicted from their home. The family fell behind on payments for rent due to placing their child in daycare. The family is in need of financial assistance in order to pay the rent and be caught up financially. Mother was not working, and the grandmother has been the primary provider for the family. The mother was recovering after her pregnancy, and the father is not in the picture. The mother is currently working on stabilizing herself with employment, so they won't be in this situation again.

Single mother is currently caring for six children; the family is in need of bunk beds. The mother has the mattresses but is in need of the bunk bed frames. This will help the children have their own place to sleep instead of sharing beds with one another.

I have a family who is dealing with a lot of needs with the Mother of the adopted children, adult sibling being the only caregiver having to care for her Mom with severe medical issues including her not being coherent and having mental and vision difficulties, her Autistic son with very angry outbursts, younger sibling who was adopted and has behavioral issues from trauma before she was adopted, and her own medical needs and dealing with a cyst she has. This Adult sibling is trying her hardest to get to all appointments in caring for her family, but it has put a burden on her working, and she hasn't been able to work in the past 4 weeks. Every time the adult sibling tries to leave for work, she is called back to the home to assist in some kind of matter. So, I am requesting for a grocery card to help this family until hopefully she can reapply for food stamps and also a punching bag to help the Autistic Son with his angry outbursts as he likes to punch things when he is angry.

I have the mother of four children who is pregnant with her fifth child. She lives with her mother, as her and the children's father are no longer together. The father currently has all four of the children in his care right now and is planning on filing for primary custody of those children. This mother is due with their fifth child (a boy) in September, and although she works, she doesn't have a very good job and barely has any money after helping her mom pay for the bills. She doesn't have the money to pay for the car seat and the pack and play (with possible basinet attachment) for the baby to be safe when they do arrive. Her support system is unable to help her financially at all. Any help is greatly appreciated.

We are seeking assistance to provide routers for the single mothers in our maternity home. Access to reliable internet is essential for our moms to complete parenting classes, conduct job searches, and connect to vital resources that support their journey toward stability and independence. With internet access, these women will have the tools they need to: participate in online parenting and life skills classes, apply for jobs and prepare for interviews, and access critical resources, including housing applications, educational opportunities, and telehealth services. Your support in providing funds for routers would make a significant difference in empowering our moms to achieve their goals.
