31 year old dad who is trying to work as much as possible to continue with his sobriety and maintain his housing at a sober living home is in need of an electric bike to get to and from work. This dad walks daily to work and it's a 1 1/2 hour walk for him, but he does it gladly knowing that he will be able to pay for his housing, send his son money, and ultimately save some money to begin seeing his son more frequently by catching public transportation to Orlando for overnight trips to spend time with his son. He is aware of the public transportation currently available but due to past experiences he rather walk to avoid making it to work late and being fired, as the buses are not reliable. Single Mom and her five children need help with beds. Mom recently obtained stable housing for her and her children. They have overcome homelessness. Mom works full time and is providing for her children, but right now they do not have their own mattresses.

This family is going to be moving into a new space after being evicted from a shared space. This will be their first time living alone. Mom has requested help getting a bed for her daughter, so that her daughter will have her own bed for the first time. Mother is working hard to provide for her family and even with 2 jobs is unable to provide for some of the basic needs. When kiddos share beds with parents, it causes them to go to bed much later and be up much earlier than what they need to. Meeting this need should help this student be ready to learn and set up to succeed!

This student and his 2 adult brothers all have cognitive disabilities. Their mother unexpectedly passed away a couple months ago and they are left on their own without any family to assist with their needs. The landlord has been wonderful and is trying to help them with getting their needs met and manage their daily affairs. however the student is sleeping on a cot type bed and could really use a double bed and a comforter/sheet set. 2 of their dressers are completely falling apart so we are requesting 2 tall dressers to replace them. This all would help their quality of life greatly so they can continue to be successful independently. Thank you for the consideration for this family.

A mom we are serving through mentorship just had her second baby, she has a 6 year old who is on the spectrum. She had the baby over a month early, everyone is healthy but baby is still in the NICU for now. They are in need of some supplies. Mom was working as a security guard but does not have any benefits with her job so has no income currently until she is healed and ready to return to work. She lives with her mother who also works but struggling to keep up with only one income for now. With baby arriving early, they are in need of tiny sized clothes for him as well as some other items. This family has been working with Better Together through the mentorship program and has been able to obtain many things they were needing but lacking a few items. She is in need of diapers in size preemie or newborn, larger sizes can be grown into. Preemie or newborn size clothes, 0-3 months is swimming on him right now! Baby hats, socks, mittens---due to his size, he's having a harder time regulating body temperature. Preemie bottles, Dr Brown makes a special bottle for preemie babies. She is also in need of baby laundry detergent (Dreft). As well as a queen size bedding set for mom.

This request is for a Summit family in need of some assistance. A single mom with 5 kids is moving into a new home. The purchase of the home along with expensive closing costs have made furnishing the home extremely difficult. In addition to the needs list, they could use bedding for each bed. Also, regarding the kitchen table, a rectangle table with 6 chairs would work best for this family.
