The mother needs assistance with mattresses and will then have an approved home study to reunify with her children

We have a young adult who turned 18 in May. He graduated high school with honors despite multiple placement changes while in foster care. He entered our Extended Foster Care Program on his 18th birthday and applied to a local college, where he was accepted for the Fall 2025 semester! We are very proud of this young man. Due to transportation barriers, he will be doing most of his classes online and is need of a laptop computer, so we are requesting a laptop computer for him, so he can make his educational goals a reality.

A 17-year-old young woman is courageously working to overcome significant mental health challenges that have deeply impacted her daily life. For a long time, her struggles left her unable to engage in even the most basic self-care, including regular hygiene, simply because she didn’t feel comfortable in her own skin.

But she is fighting to reclaim her life.

She has begun making remarkable strides in improving her hygiene and self-confidence. As part of her journey, she is in need of new clothing that fits her body and supports her sense of dignity and belonging. She currently wears a 3XL in pants and an XL in shirts. Hygiene items would also make a meaningful difference as she continues building routines that support her well-being.

Her mother, who is homebound due to medical issues and receives daily care, is unable to provide these items on her own. This family is doing their best with the resources they have, but they need our help to continue moving forward.

This request isn’t just for clothes and hygiene items... it’s an opportunity to affirm this young woman’s healing, growth, and worth.

She is currently facing challenges affording gas, which is preventing her from consistently transporting her children to and from daycare. This is making it difficult for her to attend job interviews and explore work opportunities. A gas card—of any amount—would provide vital support to help ensure her children can maintain stable care while she works toward securing employment.
