I have a single mother that has three children at home and two children in care. She reached out and said that her radiator hose exploded on her car and she is unable to pay for the replacement hose and the labor that comes to putting a new one in her car. If she can’t get this fixed, she is in jeopardy of losing her job, thus losing her home and her other children possibly coming into care. She isn’t sure on the price but by googling it ranges from $350 upwards of $1200. Anything is helpful at this point. Thank you!!

Hello Care portal team, one of our amazing case workers is requesting your support. We are currently working with an aunt who open her home to her nephew to avoid him going into foster care. Although he is in a safe environment, we are seeking your support with an air mattress and pillows for the teen. The items can get sent to my office, or funds can be donated for this request. These children entered care a few days ago. Their relative has graciously agreed to become placement for the 3 children but they do not have beds for all 3 children. We have some available but still need a twin mattress and frame for all them to stay in the same room.

I am reaching out on behalf of parents of an 8-year-old boy with significant medical complexity that passed away last month in the hospital. It was a long journey with a prolonged hospital stay prior to his passing causing financial strain. Tragically, this is their second child to die at a young age due to the same genetic condition. While in their time of grief, the family is having difficulty paying the remaining expenses due to the funeral home. The family has a remaining balance of around $2,400 but any amount of support would mean so much to this family.

This young person visits her siblings very frequently, but they don’t have a table or chairs to eat. She would be extremely grateful if they could assist her with a small table, even if it’s used, as they are currently eating on the floor. This is the only thing they’re missing in order to have everything in order.

Hello I am reaching out to request a 5 point car seat for a family that is in need of this item urgently. This placement is absolutely perfect for the children and provide a stable and loving home. The only thing that is really missing is proper car seat so that the child can be safely transported while they stay there. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.

This teen is African American and needs her hair to be braided at a salon. She is wearing a bonnet because she needs her hair done which is a vital part of her heritage and cultural expression. This teen's family is from Liberia and her aunt works at a salon and can do her hair tomorrow but it will cost $150. The foster home and bio mom need assistance in paying for her hair to be braided.

Mother just gave birth to her 2nd baby been out of work, She has been sent termination notice on gas bill that is all that is left unpaid, and she is needing all the assistance she can get for her gas bill.

In hopes to assist one of our youth with his new adventure, he has made an Amazon Wish List! This young adult (18, M) is hopeful to have some things to get him started on his own and set up his apartment! He's worked very hard these past several months to graduate, get his driver's license and necessary documents and go through interviews for his new housing. He is moving in June 4 and very excited! He would love any help!
