We have a case that is ending but the family needs furniture for the child, dad, and the home. The family is needing beds and a living room set. Once the family receive the furniture the agency will be able to close their case. The agency wants to make sure the family has what it needs to prevent a new intake from happening. Any help give to help keep the placement would be greatly appreciated.

Please help strengthen a biological family in need. This family has a single mother that is working hard and working two jobs to support her six children. She is recently separated from her partner and experiencing financial difficulties. Having to start from scratch in a new home has been a challenge. As one can imagine, a home with six children will need to be cleaned frequently and a fair amount of laundry will be produced.

This family is in need of five jugs of laundry detergent, three gallons of bleach, three containers of pine-sol floor cleaner, a vacuum cleaner, 3t-4t pull up diapers, and unscented wipes.

If this need is met, it will afford the family some financial relief in the short term. The mom recently began a new job and funds are limited now, but she is already looking for additional employment to better provide for her family in the future.

A single mother of two teenage sons is seeking financial assistance to cover the costs associated with securing a new apartment. The necessary expenses include an application fee of $35 and a deposit of $250. The family was recently evicted and is currently staying in a hotel. The mother is employed and expects to receive her paycheck on Friday evening. In addition to the application fee and deposit, she requires $149.30 to cover two nights of hotel accommodations. With this support, she hopes to move into the new apartment by Monday. The new residence is more affordable than their previous dwelling, making it a sustainable housing option. Assistance in this matter would provide the family with a safe and stable place to stay during this transitional period.

A family with a single mother and three children has experienced homelessness over the past year. Their homelessness has included periods living in a hotel, staying with friends, and residing in a shelter. The mother was able to secure employment and save enough funds for a deposit and two months' rent to move into an apartment. After significant sacrifices, the family is now living in their own apartment; however, due to financial constraints, they have limited resources. The family is in need of furniture such as three bed frames with mattresses, a couch or sofa, pots and pans for cooking, and a kitchen table. They also need clothing, as they were only able to bring a limited amount of their belongings. The family's sizes are as follows:

• Mother wears a size 14 in pants, a large in women's tops, and 8.5 in women’s shoes.
• Daughter wears a size 6/7 in junior pants, medium in women's tops, and size 9 in women’s shoes.
• Youngest daughter wears a size 8T (children’s) in tops and bottoms, and size 1-2 in children's shoes. This support would help this family finally move past their difficult circumstances and transform their new apartment into a true home.

I am working with a family who has secured housing following an extended period of homelessness, including tent living.

The children are in dire need of clothing shoes (theirs are flapping), socks, underwear, mattresses and protective covers. Two children experience chronic accidents & bed-wetting, they have mattresses and a bedframe, but their mattresses are urine soaked. Clothing can be gently used.

Sizes-

11 y/o boy- 14/16 preferably with an adjustable waist as he is tall and thin. He likely would fit a men's xs or xxs as well

Shoe size: 5.5

8 y/o boy- 10/12-14/16

Shoe size- 5

4 y/o girl- 5T or kids 4/5

The 4 y/o has the least urgent needs as she has an active father that partially provides for her needs.

Other items needed include lice combs/kits, hygiene products, & cleaning supplies.

They also really need to see the doctor, they just did a Medicaid application, but it will take time. If anyone would be able to pay for the two older boys to see the doctor the cost is $75 each.

Request is for a 3-year-old foster boy who was neglected as a child. This is his second placement, and he demands lots of attention from his foster parent. Almost every night, he becomes elevated and has tantrums lasting about 30 minutes because he does not want to go to bed. The last few nights, he has awakened in the middle of the night and left his room and destroyed other parts of the house. Foster family has only been in this house for about 6 months and this foster child sleeps in a room by himself that needs decorating with positive reinforcements (a separate CarePortal request has been made for Spiderman items). This is a request for an alarm/pager system to monitor the boy's bedroom door. Foster parent would like an alarm on the door that would sound in her bedroom so that she knows when he leaves his room and hopefully does not awaken all the other children in the home.

This sweet teen boy in foster care has Huntington's Disease. The disease is causing him to quickly decline in his speech, mobility and all other areas of his life - but he still manages to keep a smile on his face every day.

He is in need of adaptive clothing to assist him in using the restroom on his own so he can keep attending school and maintain a sense of independence. We aim to make the last years of his young life as easy on him as possible, and these items would help so much. Please see the Amazon links:

I have a family that has a child that is High Risk Medically Fragile Child that has a g-tube and he does not have a bed. I am requesting this for the family so that he can have a bed. The mother has lost her apartment due to the rent being increased and she is not able to afford the rent she had to place her other 3 children with other family members until she is able to secure housing. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The foster child was placed in the home with few clothing items and is a relatively petite teen, so she has been unable to find clothing that fits at foster closets. This case manager is requesting a Abercrombie gift card for a teenage girl to be able to buy some pairs of jeans and a belt that will actually fit her as she wears a size 00.

Mother has 2 young children. Mother has epilepsy and Father works at night. Family needs assistance and would like to install cameras in residence so father can monitor the residence while mother is home alone with the children. Cameras will help the family to ensure the safety of the children and the mother due to her medical condition.

There is father who was recently reunified with his 2 year old. The father has worked his required services and his 2 year old was courted to be placed back with him. The father is having financial issues and needs immediate help to meet the needs of his child. There is a urgent need for gift cards to Target or Walmart or if prefer another store that meet the child's need for clothes sizes 3T and diapers size 3-4. 2 year old child also needs shoes size is unknown at this time.
