Single mother with a special needs child received a cut off notice for her utilities scheduled for 05/29/2025. The amount of the past due bill is $325.37

The youth is in need of funds for graduation (cap & gown) fees. The youth is also in need of the funds to take Driver's Education course to learn to drive so that she can get herself to and from appointments.

Youth is really good in sports. He did play basketball and football this year he did well in both. Youth is interested in wanting to do a basketball camp for the summer. The camp of his choice starts June 9th. This camp will take place for 3 weeks in Ohio and Las Vegas. His family is not able to pay the funds for him to join the camp.

This Flourishment Participant has been working so hard to reach her goals and get life back on track from facing homelessness to living in a shelter to now getting her own place! She just moved into a duplex and will be reunified with her son next week! We are so proud of how far she has come. Although the home is furnished, she is in need of household essentials and a few smaller furniture items. Below is a list of what is needed. If any of these items are available in good used condition, that works great as well. Request for Bedding and Household Support A single mother of five children is working hard to provide for her family while facing significant financial challenges. She is trying to create a safe and stable home environment for her children as she prepares for their return to her care. The children include two older kids, ages 10 and 11, and three children under the age of five. The family is in urgent need of the following items to support a hazard-free and nurturing home: • Bunk beds or individual small beds for the older children • A toddler bed (for a 1.5-year-old & the three year old) • A crib (for an infant) • Basic home furnishings (any available support in this area would be deeply appreciated)

Currently, the children’s beds are broken and unusable, and the home lacks essential furniture. Providing these items would significantly improve the children’s quality of life, safety, and comfort.

Parents have three children with autism ages 9, 8 and 7 . They are in need of food and gas cards. They moved into a home with help of non profit however the HVAC leaked and black mold formed that home had to be gutted and family had to move into hotel for the next two months. They are also in need of car registration and insurance but have had such difficulty with finances with home disaster unable to get the necessary coverage for auto. Mother is studying billing and coding and hopes to get job soon. Father is elderly with health issues.

This child has been placed with fictive kinship. The fictive kin is the sole provider for this child who is 16 years old. The youth is excited to be in the home with the family. The caregiver wants to care for the youth long-term but needs a few resources to assist with caring for the child. The family needs a lock box to ensure appropriate storage of medications.

The care giver is in need of diapers, wipes and clothing for 15-year-old, 2-year-old and a 1-year-old children. The children are temporarily placed with a relative who is in need of furniture and assistance with the children.

This is a need for help with rent. The family has part of the rent but due to medical bills, cannot pay the amount. The adoptive Mom had experienced medical bills and prescription bills this month that caused her to use her rent money to meet those needs. She has a portion of her rent but is requesting assistance with the remaining amount. She will submit a letter from her landlord/apartment management that states the amount due that is remaining. She will be notified that this is a one time help and cannot be requested again at a later date. Update as of 5/19: Adoptive Mom experienced a Medical Emergency over the weekend and is in the hospital.
