I am writing to request urgent assistance with a significantly high water bill for this family. This family is facing imminent water shut-off due to their inability to pay the outstanding balance. This situation is particularly critical as there are two kids in the household, aged 5 years old, and 8 years old. The lack of water would create an unsanitary and potentially unsafe living environment, severely impacting the children's health and well-being. The family is actively working towards financial stability, but this unforeseen and excessive utility expense has created an immediate and stressful concern. Any assistance that could be provided to help cover this water bill would be immensely helpful for this family.

Family is requesting help with funds for the child to attend debate camp. This child has done well this school year with participating in his school debate club and has greatly improved his social and communication skills. This camp will be very beneficial for him to attend.

Mom and Dad had twins with one of the twins being born with a serious heart condition. The twins are now almost 5 months old however the one with the heart condition was hospitalized for 2 months after birth and received a heart surgery during hospitalization. Since going home he has been hospitalized 6 times and the medical team is recommending 2 more heart surgeries. The family is on board for surgery and doing such a beautiful job taking care of the twins, following all of the hospital recommendations. Dad is the sole financial provider for the family and has taken all his PTO (especially having to take additional days off during the unexpected admissions since going home). The family is now behind for June rent and they received an eviction notice stating that they must pay for June rent in full or they will get evicted. Dad and Mom are requesting an extension and asking for a payment plan but they remain approx $500 short. If a church is able to assist with up to $500 to help prevent eviction, the family would be grateful and the hospital would also be very appreciative of the support.

Family has recently experienced significant violence. The victim was targeted for his car. A tracking device was placed on it, he was ambushed, and shot six times. The shooting occurred while the entire family was home. The victim is currently hospitalized and will be out of work. The family is currently being relocated for safety concerns. The family is in need of groceries at this time, and to help the family focus on the victim's healing. They have been spending most of their time at the hospital. The victim is 22 years old. He was a contributing member to the family's income. Any help with groceries for this family, would be greatly appreciated!

Our Agency recently became involved with a family, who just welcomed a precious baby last month! The family consists of the new baby, an elementary school aged child and the parents. The family is navigating systematic challenges, trying to learn local resources and obtaining whatever documentation those agencies require to receive support. Father was employed and bringing home enough funds to make ends meet, allowing mom to recover from childbirth and stay home with the baby. However, due to unforeseen challenges with his employer, father is now actively looking for a new job ASAP with the help of their case worker. The family does not have enough money to pay their full rent ($850), so we are desperately and respectfully requesting assistance paying $500. They are otherwise caught up on bills and utilities, so by supporting them this month- the church will prevent this from snowballing into a much bigger crisis!

An older youth who has re-entered care due to her guardianship dissolving is needing a laptop to complete her schoolwork. She is enrolled but put on a hiatus until she can access a computer regularly for her assignments. With her caseworkers help, it was confirmed that she can re-enter the program once she obtains a computer. This would allow for her to set her own academic goals, as well as apply for jobs to gain independence as she progresses towards aging out from care.
