I am reaching out with a heavy heart to request support for a local family who is facing unimaginable grief and hardship. This family of four—one adult and three children—recently suffered the tragic loss of their spouse and father, who died by suicide.

He was the sole breadwinner, and his passing has left the family not only emotionally devastated but also in a sudden financial crisis. As they prepare for the upcoming funeral, they are in urgent need of basic hygiene items and appropriate clothing to attend the service with dignity.

Minor child was placed with biological mother with very limited mobility and high medical needs.SHe cannot leave the apartment without assistance. This is a high risk placement. Mom cannot transport child to school at the school he is attending. They are not wanting to switch schools at this time of year. The school paid for Hop Skip Drive for a month, DHS paid for 2 weeks. I am hoping to find donors willing to purchase HOP, Skip Drive gift cards to provide rides to and from school for a week or two . I reached out to HOP , SKIP , DRIVE and this particular childs rides range from $41 to $48 each way per day. Youth has worked hard and really did everything he can to be on his best behavior and turn everything around. He's back in school and doing everything he needs to, he's in therapy, following all of his court conditions, and is thriving. He really wants to get back into playing soccer as he used to play a lot but currently, he doesn't have appropriate shoes. He asked if I'd be able to help him with that, and I told him I'd try. He really just wants to play soccer. He's 17, he's trying to get back on the right track, and sports really help him regulate. I would absolutely love if someone could help with this and help this kiddo achieve this goal so that he can engage in something that he very much deserves to be engaged in. He is very worried about the price and not wanting to inconvenience anyone, he is very sweet, and he deserves some shoes so that he can play the one thing that he loves above all else. Any help would be so greatly appreciated by his entire professional team, and it would make this kiddo's whole year.

Youth is going to start living with her mother and is needing new clothes, as hers were lost when her mother moved. She has been working with a mentor to make sure she is set up for success once she is released. She is wanting a new start and is needing clothes to attend school and look for a job.

This grandmother, already caring for two young grandchildren, has recently taken in her three older grandchildren, creating a full household with a deep need for stability and comfort. Providing a twin mattress, frame, pillow, and sheets for her teenage granddaughter will ensure she has a safe and restful space to sleep, allowing her to thrive despite the challenges of a crowded home and a demanding caregiving role.

This child is non verbal and autistic and placed with his grandfather. His grandfather is retired and doing his best to balance all the needs of the child. he is too big for his current car seat and needs a new one.

Mom is requesting two car seats - for a 2.5 year old (27lbs) and a 7 month old (17lbs). These car seats will greatly help mom be able to transport her baby girls safely and help mom as she and the kids transition into their own healthy, living situation. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Single mother needs some assistance with some items for 14-year old kiddo. They are hoping that can get a Walmart gift card so that they can purchase some hygiene items, bedding, and laundry detergent and other household cleaning products. Mother is not working on a consistent basis due to transportation issues.

Child needs a 4T boys suit for church (new/used) and a $25 Walmart gift card . Kiddo was placed with kin over the weekend. A $25 Wal Mart dollar gift card is needed to help with getting supplies for him.

One of our foster parents who cares for traumatized children in her home. Lately she has had many children placed in her care with challenging behaviors, to the point that it was unsafe for the child themselves as well as the others in the home. A particular youth in the home has destroyed the home and been physically aggressive. This has been a bit traumatizing for the provider, and the provider has had to pay a large amount of out-of-pocket expenses to repair the home to continue to accommodate other children in need. Foster Mom has provided a safe place for many children in the system and advocated for and met their needs, as well as shown them unconditional love which they have never had from a caregiver. We would like for her to continue to be able to do this good work and helping so many hurting children in need. This donation will help her to clean her home to provide that loving care for children that come into care by ensuring a habitable living environment for them.

A grandmother is caring for her two grandchildren ages 8 and 9 by herself. The kid's mom has been in and out of their lives. Grandma has been doing all she can to provide for the kids. She is in need of help paying for after school care as well as the school summer camp program for the kids. The total cost of the summer program is $4,794 for both children which is a large financial burden for her. Any amount towards this cost would be a tremendous help!

A young single mother of three is expecting her fourth child in October. She is currently fleeing a domestically violent relationship with the father of her child. He is not willing to help her financially or emotionally. This mama greatly desires to be working towards self-sufficiency, and she is accessing many resources, including case management in order to create a safer environment for her family. Having this larger cost item covered would allow her already sparse income to go towards essentials like rent, gas and groceries and ensure that she doesn't have to make a decision between any of those things.
