Family has just moved into a new home. The father is a single parent and providing care for child alone. He needs help getting the child proper bedding.

I have 10 families (mothers) who do not know how to cook and are in need of crockpots and family friendly cookbooks to help them learn how to prepare simple nutritious meals for their children. This request goes beyond a household appliance - it is an opportunity to strengthen & equip moms with essential life skills that promote healthy family routines, stress reduction and positive parenting. With the support of crockpots and guided cookbooks mothers/families can: -Prepare affordable, nutritious meals at home; spend more quality time with their children; learn & practice a parenting skill & reduce the stress associated with meal planning and food insecurity.

A single mother currently involved in Family-Based Safety Services (FBSS) is in need of support for her two young children. The newborn (male) requires preemie-sized clothing, crib, basinet, car seat, and preemie size 1 diapers, while the toddler (female) wears size 2T clothing, size 2T underwear, and toddler shoe size 6. The toddler is fully potty trained and no longer requires diapers. Providing these essential items will help reduce financial strain on the caregiver as she has not been able to work lately due to recent accident that led to child's premature birth. These items will also ensure the children's basic needs are met and support the family's ongoing stability as they work toward completing services and maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment.

I am requesting assistance for a mother of four children who is rebuilding her life after domestic violence in the home. She has one daughter, age 7, and three sons, ages 7, 6, and 3. The family is in need of bunk beds and a twin size bed for the boys, who share one room, as well as dressers for both the boys’ room and the daughter’s room. Additionally, the mother is in need of basic household items, specifically pots, pans, and new dishes, to help create a stable and functional home. Providing these items would greatly support this family as they work toward a fresh start and a safe, nurturing environment for the children. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Help bring comfort and healing to three grieving siblings. Three siblings—ages 12 (female), 11 (male), and 8 (male)—are currently living in a shelter after the recent and tragic loss of their brother. This devastating event has uprooted their lives, and they are in great need of comfort and emotional support as they begin the grieving and healing process.

Meeting this need will provide the children with a sense of stability and care during this difficult transition. These items will not only meet their practical needs but also help them process their grief and create small moments of joy in a very uncertain time.

Please help a mother who is need of a bunk bed, and a dining room table set to furnish her home due to just moving into a home. Helping this mother furnish her home will help her to prepare her home for when her children are returned back into her care and will help with proper sleeping arrangements for the child that she currently has in the home with her.

I am reaching out on behalf of a Spanish-speaking single mother who is in urgent need of rental assistance. She is currently pregnant and caring for two young children—one who is 5 years old and the other just 4 months old. Although she has been working to support her family, her vehicle recently broke down, preventing her from getting to work and resulting in a loss of income. She is now struggling to pay her rent and at risk of falling behind. Due to her current citizenship status, she has had difficulty qualifying for many rental assistance programs and organizations. Any support or resources available to help her during this challenging time would be deeply appreciated.

Family in Urgent Need of Safe Housing Support.

A single mother of two—one child just 2 years old and the other 17—is currently facing unsafe living conditions in her apartment. For some time, the unit has suffered from severe structural issues, including floors caving in and a large hole in the bathtub. While the landlord has recently started repairing the hole, they’ve now discovered a leak in the apartment that may require extended repairs.

Instead of providing a safe, habitable solution, the landlord has asked the mother and her children to temporarily relocate to another unit on the property that is known to be in even worse condition. The proposed unit has been reported to be infested with rodents and presents numerous additional concerns for the family's health and safety.

In her attempt to advocate for herself and her children, the mother reached out to the local housing department. Unfortunately, the only support offered was a letter allowing her to vacate the apartment. However, with her sole income being Supplemental Security Income (SSI), she lacks the financial resources to secure a new place to live—particularly the upfront costs such as a rental deposit.

This family urgently needs support to find safe and stable housing. Assistance with a security deposit or temporary housing could make all the difference in preventing homelessness and ensuring these children can live in a clean and secure environment.

The family is about to get evicted from their home. The family fell behind on payments for rent due to placing their child in daycare. The family is in need of financial assistance in order to pay the rent and be caught up financially. Mother was not working, and the grandmother has been the primary provider for the family. The mother was recovering after her pregnancy, and the father is not in the picture. The mother is currently working on stabilizing herself with employment, so they won't be in this situation again.

Single mother is currently caring for six children; the family is in need of bunk beds. The mother has the mattresses but is in need of the bunk bed frames. This will help the children have their own place to sleep instead of sharing beds with one another.

The family has relocated back to Dallas County to their home. They have been able to obtain a bed for their oldest child but is in need of two toddler beds for their youngest children. Mom just started working but in the process of getting established in her role and assisting with household necessities. The family has experienced a lot over the past 9 months, and a little assistance will really help alleviate some of the families' financial stressors.

At CCA, we provide uniform shirts for all our students so they can be ready to start the school year in dress code. This is of huge help especially for families who may not be able to afford them. We’re asking for the funds to cover the cost of school shirts with the CCA logo, so every student can start the year strong. Every student receives 3-5 shirts so that they can be in dress code on a daily basis.
