A grandfather is raising his two grandsons and is actively pursuing full custody of the children through family court. The grandfather receives no help from the father of the children and the grandfather does not want to ask for help. He is humble, faithful and fighting so hard for his health and the children who so desperately need him and the stability he provides to their life. He is living off of a fixed income and hoping to get to Boston MA soon where his supports are but he cannot go until custody is granted. The grandfather remains so positive during trying times and always keeps a smile on his face. He has an upcoming electric bill that assistance in paying would be helpful, although he does not want to ask for the assistance. The children are in 4T-5T pull ups and go through these quickly. One of the children has to drink a lot of Pediasure drinks and all of his SNAP benefits go towards this and nothing else. If anything, this grandfather would greatly benefit from a community to surround him, pray for him and uplift him. He has become hopeless at times during this process, but he never stops smiling for these two young boys. He is a deserving man of any support and love that can be provided. A kinship caregiver is needing assistance with her rent payment for the month. The caregiver has taken in her 4-month-old nephew and due to buying all of the necessities that the child did not have, has come up short on her rent payment. In addition to her nephew in the home, the caregiver has 2 children in her home that will now be at risk of losing their housing. The caregiver is waiting for her caregiver funds to start and has only just started the process for foster care. If assisted, the caregiver and her family will continue to have stable housing and will not have the fear of losing it or having to find a new home. Any assistance is appreciated!

When the request is met the family will have continue to have a stable household without concern for housing.

A young single mother of a 4-year-old child is seeking support to obtain a bus pass and a bed with appropriate accessories for her child. While the mother is employed and actively working to provide for her family, she is currently facing financial hardship. The cost of transportation to and from work, along with household expenses and basic necessities, has made it difficult for her to fully meet her child's needs. Providing this assistance would help ensure a stable and safe environment for the child and support the mother’s continued efforts toward self-sufficiency. Also, the bed will allow the child to have a good night's rest so he can learn and improve his much-needed rest.

We are working with a single mom with young twins and a teen. The mom works full time and is a single mom. Tasks as simple as deep cleaning the house are tough with little twins. The family has requested help with a deep clean of the house to help this mom have one less thing to worry about.
