We are working with a single father. He is currently experiencing a financial hardship which has made it difficult for him to afford transportation. At present, he is walking to work but was recently assaulted during his commute, causing him to miss a week of work. Alejandro is actively working on reinstating his driver’s license, with a DMV appointment scheduled for August 4th, 2025.

Until then, his only means of commuting are walking and public transportation; however, he is no longer able to afford a bus pass. This ongoing stress has negatively impacted his mental health, and he has been referred to Ellie Mental Health for therapy support.

Providing Alejandro with a bus pass for July would significantly alleviate some of his burdens, help ensure his continued employment, and foster trust and a stronger relationship with our agency.

A 14 year-old girl is staying with a friend's family due to family concerns. Her siblings have moved out of state. She was unable to take much of anything with her. She needs help with some clothing and hygiene items, if possible some makeup also. Your support would mean the world to her and help her know she is not alone! She will purchase pants, shorts, shirts, undergarments. She wears a size medium in pants and says any size shirt will work. Her favorite color is baby blue. She could use some aquaphor cream for extremely dry skin when she buys the hygiene items.

This 4 year old child is being cared for by his older grandparents. This child has significant autism and is mostly nonverbal, grandparents are working now that they have him in their care and need to support him. He has been placed in their care for over a year, and has grown so much since then. Grandparents are requesting gift cards to the Arc Thrift store so that they can purchase clothes that will fit the child.

Kin provider has taken in her two young grandchildren, ages 2 and 3 years old. Parents have not been helping out financially and she could use help in getting the children each a tricycle and a life jacket so that they're able to enjoy the outdoors for the summer. This would also help the kin get a break, while the kids have some activities to engage in. Any help on these items is so appreciated by this grandmother.

Support Request for Family in Crisis (2 Adults, 1 Child)

I am seeking support for a family of three (two adults and one child) who have been experiencing intermittent homelessness since the fall of 2023. They have been living between hotels and their vehicle, which has become a vital resource for daily transportation and job searching.

The family is in the process of entering a transitional housing program that aims to support reunification and long-term stability. Both parents are actively working toward rebuilding their lives. The father is currently seeking employment and is committed to re-entering the workforce. The mother is focused on addressing her health challenges, including managing a recent diagnosis of diabetes. Due to their unstable living conditions, she is unable to consistently access or store the medications required to properly manage her condition.

A critical barrier to the family’s progress is their vehicle, which they rely on heavily—especially for job interviews, transportation to medical appointments, and basic needs. The car's battery is no longer functional and needs to be replaced. Without this repair, their ability to seek employment and participate in support programs is very limited. The family is staying in their vehicle until they can go to transition housing.

We are seeking assistance with the cost of a new car battery or direct support with the repair to help this family overcome a significant obstacle on their path to stability.

This family has been recently reunified Mother had completed everything on her treatment plan and this case was set to end with placement planned to have Kinship placement for months until recent abuse concerns for the children placement while at Kinship providers home . The return home was placed back with Bio Mother and Kids came home out of this this emergency placement back to Mother . Mother has no High Chairs for both children and was not given a car seat for either of the children . I'm requesting 2 baby car seats and One regular high chair and one high chair that is just table chair . This can be so helpful for this family as these things were the only things Mother didnt have for the children because she originally wasn't going to have them return home into her care .

A teen was recently placed back home with his mother. The department is wanting to ensure that the teen and mom are supported. They are needing some help and a gift card to King Soopers. They are currently looking for their own place, as they are living in the basement of Mother's ex-boyfriends parent home.

This Mom is a care provider for her own sons needs he Is 11 yrs. old and has Autism they have a Motel room and this is the second one due to her being asked to leave the first one because her son make loud noises and stomp his feet on the floor this has been the challenge for the family because of her son's behaviors due to him being Autistic . The current place where they are in doesn't not have a bed for both to sleep and Mother has been sleeping in the chair in the room this has been hard for Mom she will need surgery on one of her legs soon from a fracture from past injury during a domestic viokence incent . So it would be helpful if we can get an Air mattress and mattress cover for the the family . Thanks Kindly

Working with a young father who has custody of his five year old (soon to be six) son. He and son were homeless for some time until we could get him stably couch surfing with his cousin. A couple of months ago in March, dad was able to get moved into an apartment with his kiddo. Dad is hard working, engages with our program and has made great progress!! When he and son moved into their apartment, the only thing they had were two beds. Now they have a sofa and two beds. What dad would really like is some privacy. They do not have curtains and I was hoping to assist them with this. Especially since very recently dad broke his hand and cannot work till released by the doctor. Thank goodness he has saved some money but it will go quickly. The little guy is a very energetic and loving kid with lots of energy. He just graduated kindergarten and is ready to move on to first grade - he even sent me pics of his continuation and I am very happy and proud for him! Every time I visit dad he comes running and hugs me and tells me hi miss bonnie! Please help me help them make their place a home. (dad has asked for one set of dark blue and one set of black curtains, 40 x 84 panels - hopefully light blocking and he will need rods - just the sleeve style where the curtains slide on)

I am requesting a gift card on behalf of a single mother of one who is currently awaiting a new employment opportunity. Although she is actively seeking and is hopeful about the position, she is in need of extra support in the meantime. A gift card would allow her to continue focusing on maintaining stability for herself and her child. While she is doing her best to provide for her child, her income is limited, and she could greatly benefit from additional support to cover basic needs such as groceries.

Please help a teen mom who is having a baby girl in a few weeks! She wants to be the best parent she can be and is very excited to welcome this little one into the world. Due to some substantial family roadblocks, the mother has been unable to work and has some needs for items for her baby. A 17yr old and recently gave birth to a little girl. She is in need of diapers, clothes 0-3mo., a kangaroo pouch and potentially a stroller. She doesn't have much of anything and is relying on her uncle for most items. They are all on benefits and need to make sure their bills are paid first, so they do not have a lot of leftover money for baby items.
