Family was kicked out of their home and have been staying in their car. Confirmed they slept in their car last night. Mother stated she has a meeting with the Family care center today but did not give a time. Family needs a hotel or motel to stay in for the child not to come into custody. Mother is trying to find somewhere for them to go. Quality Inn Columbia TN has a room available for $78 per night. Total for 4 nights is around $374. The family is needing a hotel from tonight and check out on Monday, 7/7/25. Any help is appreciated for this family to help prevent a custodial episode. Thank You!

Resource Linkage is working with a single mother of 4 children, ages 11, 5, 3 and 2. The mother just moved into a new house which has exhausted a lot of her funds. She does have a job so she should be able to pay moving forward. After speaking with the landlord, he is giving her until July 7th to pay her rent or he will start the eviction process. The rent is $1,650. The landlord will take a check or a money order. The mother is also needing 5 baby gates and clothes for the children. The 2 boys wear sizes 10/12 and 12/14 and the 2 girls wear sizes, 3T-4T and 2T-3T. She could also use size 2 in boys shoes for a 5 year old boy. Any help with this request is so greatly appreciated. The mother does not have any support around here to help her so she is trying her best to do it on her own.

The family consist of three smaller children currently residing with their aunt and she is doing the best she can with raising the children while their mother is away at this time. The children are in need of some clothing for the sizes for two girls and 1 boy. The 7 year old girl needs sizes 10/12 and size 2 in little girl shoes. The other little girl who is 3 years old is in need of a size 5/6 and in kids shoes a size 8. A little boy who is 2 years old and he wears a size 2t-3t and in shoes he wears a kids 6. Also, the aunt is in need of some gas cards to help commute the children back and forth to school and summer camp and also the 7-year-old girl is in need of a booster seat, the 3-year-old is in need of a booster with a back, and a car seat for the baby boy. The aunt is also in need of some financial assistance with one of her utility bills as well.

The family has recently lost a 5-months-old newborn baby boy. The family is limited in the amount of the beds for 4 remaining children. Every child is in need of his/her own bed. The family lacks 1 twin size bed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I Am Next is a nonprofit that works with youth who have aged out of foster care in the Middle TN area. One of our young moms (who was in the system herself) is pregnant with her second child and is due by the end of this month. She is in need of clothes for herself, even though she is about at the end of her pregnancy. She is needing some size medium maternity clothes. I am sure she will use these postpartum as well. Gently used, donated clothes work--does not have to be brand new. I will provide her address to send/deliver to her directly. Thank you so much!

A 15 year old young man in foster care is applying for jobs. He would like clothing so that he can look clean and presentable when given an opportunity for interviews. Shirt size medium Pants size 28w/32L

A mother is needing help paying her electric bill before 7/9 so it does not get shut off. Mother is a victim of domestic violence, dad is in jail and the one child was removed for bond conditions. The second child is at risk for being removed due to the bond conditions. There are no fees on the bill and this is a one time thing to help mom get back on her feet.

The department is working with a kinship parent who has taken in her grandchildren. We have been working with them to get their foster care payments, but due to a recent move there have been issues with her payments. The family is in need of rent assistance in the amount of $959 for their July rent.  We are asking for this assistance while we coordinate the payments for this family. 

A mother in Lewisburg stays at home with her two children. They are living in income based housing and there is not much space in the home and they are needing a toy box to help store toys in. The family is also in need of a kitchen table so they can eat family dinners at the table and not on the couch. Mother would also like a mop to maintain the floors in the home. She is appreciative any assistance she is needing. She is working on getting her license back while working services with DCS.

Pregnancy Care Center is serving a family that are trying to make ends meet. A mother, father, and 10 month old baby have been living with the mom's mother. The mom we are working with found her mother, passed away unexpectedly. We are helping them in the grief process and trying to get the mother connected with counseling. The mom has said they need help with groceries right now - specifically meat to cook meals. I am confident more needs will come up (diapers, expensive formula, other groceries, etc). We need someone to assist them with groceries. I can also give you information about formula. We need someone to be compassionate with this family in their grief. This family lives in northern Lebanon.

The new home has no furniture, no beds for the family, no kitchen items, and the kids do not have any school clothes. The family is also not ready to welcome the new baby and mom is unable to work. Dad works full time to provide for everyone. The baby that is due in late summer is a boy. The beds can be twins or bunk beds but would need to include a mattress and bedding if possible. The family does have one working vehicle. The children could also use somethng to play with such as balls, toys, toys for a 1 year old toddler, and the girl in the family is 4 years old. The kids and parents need hygiene products such as shampoo and body wash and hairbrushes. Items marked "supplies" are for hygiene items, school supplies, and baby items such as baby wash.
