A single mother of two recently secured an apartment for herself and her children. Fortunately, she has received support from members of the community to help with basic necessities while she works to establish stable employment. However, she has been unable to obtain beds and a couch for the apartment. Currently, the family is sleeping on air mattresses, which are uncomfortable and sometimes prevent the teenagers from getting restful sleep. The mother is seeking assistance to furnish her home with 2 twin beds, a queen bed, and couches for her children. Providing these essentials would help transform their apartment into a comfortable and welcoming home, allowing the family to rest peacefully at night.

A young 20-year-old Hispanic Female is pregnant. She is expected to give birth July 2nd, 2025, to a baby girl. She is in need of assistance of getting a car seat for her newborn baby. In addition, mother could use assistance with having some diapers/wipes and baby clothes when she gives birth to her newborn daughter. If mother was to get assistant, this can strengthen her ability to care for her daughter when she arrives home from hospital.

R. is a youth in care. R. would like to get some graduation photos done to help remember this achievement. I am asking for someone to please donate a photo shoot and some prints. This will help memorialize R.'s success and achievement in overcoming several obstacles and completing school.

The infant was recently placed with the paternal grandmother who isn’t employed and took in the child to avoid the child being placed in foster care.

The family is in need child proof locks for the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. They need child proof doorknobs, child proof wall plugs, and baby gate, and medication lock box. If the needs are met this will preserve the placement.

The child has been diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, more commonly known as Brittle Bone disease. She has broken bones doing very simple everyday things, such as her foster parent putting on her coat when it was cold outside. She is now walking and is in more danger of breaks and fractures, as busy as toddlers can be. She recently broke her leg just from falling over when trying to walk. Foster parent is needing some safety items for the child as she is growing and exploring in the home. Foster mom has another foster child who is a toddler and 4 biological children in the home.

Single mother of three; her 8-year-old daughter has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. The mother is unable to work due to the need to provide full-time care for her daughter. Currently, the family is in need of cleaning supplies, hygiene products, laundry detergent, and summer clothing for the children. the 6 month old CPS baby was placed with his aunt last week. The aunt is disable and on a fix income and is in need of important baby items, such as Diapers, Wipes, Clothing, and baby toys.

I am requesting assistance to help a young adult who is 18 years old and in foster care. He has been accepted to a university, and will be moving to his first Supervised Independent Living placement (SIL) College dorm outside of Houston. This is his first home that he will live in independently after living in foster homes. He is currently in his last semester of high school and expects to graduate in the end of May 2025. He is currently unemployed and has been diligently applying to part time jobs to help him cover his cost of living. He is in need of assistance of purchasing a mini fridge, school supplies (pens, binder, etc.), Tupperware, first aid kit, umbrella, shower cady for his dorm. Any assistance he would be grateful. Male student age 17 passed from being hit by car and mental illness. Sibling age 14 grieving. Mother passed away from cancer a few years ago. Father works but does not have all of the money for funeral of 3,000 dollars and add ons. Father reports that student's organs saved three lives, a teen, a toddler and middle aged woman and that his son would have wanted it that way because he was kind. Hospital is going to provide some of the costs but has not informed parent as of yet. Father says any help would be appreciated as he counting on donations to help with services. The foster mom reached out to the case manager because the backyard porch has been collecting water when it rains. The family isn’t sure how to fix it but they’d like to find a solution so the foster child can keep playing with their toys outside without any issues.

The family is requesting assistance with repairing their porch; they are thinking about either a deck or raising the concrete but will be thankful for anything.

THIS AMOUNT IS UNKNOWN at this time. If several folks pitch in together, for labor and wood, etc., then the amount could be "any amount." The family just had a newborn. The family is low-income, and they do not have furniture in the home. They also could benefit from baby formula since they just gave birth to a newborn. They currently have safety monitors who have to live in the home, but they do not have beds for them.
