This amazing grandmother is raising her 4 grandchildren ages 10, 7, and 4 (twins!). She is doing everything she can to make sure their needs are met, but finances have been incredibly tight since taking them in back in November. She has tried accessing community resources and is working on getting applied for benefits that may assist in the future. Her primary stress is her current aes bill. It has continued to accumulate as she has not been able to pay towards it, and she is worried about being disconnected with 4 kids in the home. Any contributions toward her $1783 bill would be greatly appreciated.

Single mother of 3 girls, ages 16, 9 and 6 and a 10 year old son in need of school supplies and household items. Mother has sent an Amazon list and the school paperwork listing items that the children must have for school. Mother is grateful for any assistance available. The 16 year old daughter has frequent mental health episodes and is involved with Ohio Rise, Montgomery County Courts and Dayton Children's Hospital. Mother and children are victims of domestic violence, child endangerment and assault. Mother has left to provide a safe environment for her children. She had lost her job and has now been offered employment with a pending start date of 7-28-25 and will be able to support her family. Mother is open to new or used items and the list will be sent if request is accepted.

This family is in need of a toddler bed and bunk beds for the children. This mother just lost her job and is currently in need of as much help as she can receive.

A single mother involved with the agency. She currently lives in a homeless shelter and needs help with housing. She wishes to get an apartment she is approved for but needs help with the security deposit or first month's deposit. She currently works at a Learning Center for $15 an hour, McDonald's for $13 an hour, and is Ubering. She plans to be working at least 40 hours but possibly more with Uber. The security deposit is $875 and rent is $875.

We are working with a parent who recently returned to shelter with their children following a funding cut on the program assisting with their rent. This parent has worked hard to obtain job skills, obtain employment, and maintain employment despite the housing instability and low social supports they have experienced. Even in light of their recent circumstances, this parent continues to trust the Lord for provision and planning. They have an incredibly positive outlook and amazing faith in His plans.

Due to a late direct deposit and moving into shelter further from the place of employment, they are requesting two bus passes. This will enable the parent to get to and from work reliably and build up savings for a new apartment. Shelter rules don't allow children to be left attending so the second pass will be so their older child can travel with them (the younger one rides free). Will you come alongside this resilient parent to support them in strengthening their family and pouring hope into their future?

A single mother just obtained custody of her two teenager children. There was a altercation between the father and son where mother obtained emergency custody from father. Mother is still paying child support and father has refused to give the majority of the kids' items and clothing back to them. Mother is working full-time but needs help with clothing for her teens. She is still paying over $500 per month in child support until support is able to stop. Mother is struggling financially.

A caregiver is looking for support in the form of an electric stove. She is the great-aunt and primary caregiver to her two great-nieces, ages 12 and 8, and her nephew, age 10. She has had legal custody of the children since 2020, after they were removed from their mother's care. Since then, she has provided them with a stable, loving, home environment where they feel safe and cared for. Recently, the caregiver’s stove ceased functioning. She has looked for assistance locally and could not find anyone with low or no-cost appliances, so she is making do with a microwave and deep fryer to fix food at this time. She recently had her fridge break also, but was able to find a replacement for this showing her resourcefulness. We are seeking assistance in obtaining a new electric stove (typical size- around 30 inches wide by 25-27 inches deep and 36-41 inches high) to support this caregiver in her ability to provide homecooked meals for her household. A grandmother who gives all her love and effort into raising her granddaughter with special needs is in need of two beds to improve the quality of their living. We would love if someone was willing to help them get a full and queen bed, mattress, and bedding for both. It would be so helpful for this amazing woman who does so much. A kinship caregiver and her 13-year-old cousin are in need of rental assistance for the month of June. The caregiver has been extremely proactive and has reached out to numerous community resources for assistance, but unfortunately no one has the funds to assist. She fears she will be at risk of eviction if she cannot catch up on the rent. Any help with this would give the caregiver some breathing room to get back on top of her finances. Thank you!

Grandma is a dedicated kinship caregiver to her 6 grandchildren. The family recently had a house fire and is now in their new home. However, as a result of the fire they are behind on their utility bills. They owe $736 on their water bill, as well as $171.50 on their electric. Grandma is proactive and has contacted numerous community resources, but no one is able to assist. Any help with these bills, even a portion of the balance, would make a huge difference for this family. Thank you!
