Landmark Pentecostal Church

Mother is in kidney failure and must received dialysis 3 days a week. She has one child. Mother fled Dallas to escape violent home situation. She has no bed to sleep on. Having a bed would help her rest and recover from her dialysis while caring for 3 month old child. Improving her sleep will improve her health which will make it easier for her to care for her child.

I have a family that is needing help. One of the children have a mattress but does not have a frame for the bed. The family is also in need of a window air conditioner. I completed a home visit, and the mother expressed that they only had one and it is trying to keep the front of the home cool.

This non-offending parent is trying to be reunified with her 16 y/o child. She has a $200 electricity bill. She thought she only had to pay $50 and paid that bill. She now has a $200 deposit to pay before she can have her electricity back on. Once it is paid, she is able to begin weekend visits with her son and be able to transition into a Trial Home Visit.

The father had lost his job, and the mother is not employed. The family has an overdue electric bill of 1607.39 that they will need to have paid in order to prevent their electric from being turned off again. The family was able to make arrangements with the electric company to pay $250.00 to have their electric turned back on but reported that they are not sure how the rest will be paid.
