Young mom with a 4 year old autistic child. Mom relocated to Tarrant County to have a friend help her get back on her feet. She was not able to bring very many of her belongings with her and is trying to start over. She and her child will be going into a shelter soon and Mom is actively looking for a job. She could use some help with some clothes for her daughter. She is Autistic and requires clothes that are made of soft material. bottoms (leggings style or shorts/sleep pants) 5t/6t tops (soft t-shirts/sleep tops) 6t cotton dresses 6t

Mother and child have obtained a new camper after the old one had many roaches, hole in the floor, tarp covering roof to prevent leaking and urine-stained mattresses from bed wetting. Mother and child have inquired about assistance with new mattresses (Full size and Queen Size), bedding for the beds and organization totes/dresser for clothing storage.

These items are needed to provide Mother and Child with a clean and sanitary home. The income tax they received covered the cost of the new camper. There is very little income that Mother receives.

We have a father that rushed to Texas from St. Louis to get his daughter from the mother who is on drugs and who has not been cooperative with the agency to address her substance abuse concerns. He attempted to have his job transfer from St. Louis to Dallas, however that request was not successful, and he has not been able to start in Dallas. He and the child have to return to St. Louis as soon as possible by May 30th in order for him not to lose his job of 17 years and to prevent the removal of his daughter from going to foster care. He has proved himself to be a protective parent and will be able to continue to care for his daughter. I am requesting bus ticket assistance on behalf of the father and the daughter to offset some of financial burden this father has had to endure while continuing to ensure that he can keep a safe and stable roof for the child. The safest option at this time for the safety of the child is to allow the child to return to St. Louis Missouri with her father where all of her needs are able to be met.

We are working with a family to help clean up and work on their house and property so that this family will be able to keep their kids home with them. They are in need of the following items.

1. 20 sheets of plywood.
2. tin for roof (unknown amount for single wide mobile home)
3. Nails (for plywood and metal)
4. Trash removal from their property to the dump in Marietta.

Mother has recently given birth. She has been unemployed during her last trimester and father income has been paying bills. Income has been stretched to the limits. Family is needing help with rental in the amount of $600 to avoid evection and regain financial stability. Family is working with CPS and will also receive rental assistance in the amount of $600 to avoid eviction. The assistance will keep all children in the home and get the family in a secure financial situation.

Single Mother with 2 children with special needs. The family could benefit from dental services for the children and help with affording basic medical needs such as vaccinations. The family also has no car, so they could benefit from transportation help or gas card.

Please help strengthen this bio family by providing them with a bed to have a good nights rest. The children have witnessed domestic violence in the home since last year. There are three children in the home and mom is also 5 months pregnant with a girl due in September. The male child is 9 years old. He has a few accidents urinating in the bed so a mattress cover would be greatly appreciated. The second child is a female aged 11 years old, and the third child is female aged 10 months old. The 11 y/o sleeps on a full-size mattress and the 9-year-old sleeps on a twin mattress. The 10-month-old has a pack n play. If you are unable to provide beds, then bed frames for the mattresses are greatly appreciated as well as sheets and blankets as they do not have any. Mom is also in need of cleaning supplies to keep the floor tidy as the 10-month-old is crawling around picking up items to put in her mouth. Mom requests a dustpan, bleach, and pine sol.

There is a mom I am working with who had fallen on hard times, she informed me that she stopped getting financial assistance from her child's father and had been having a hard time finding work due to not being able to afford childcare. She was facing eviction and managed to move onto a new property with her three children and will be starting a new job soon. During my last visit with the family, the mother informed me that a friend had loaned her a window unit, temporarily, and will be needing it back soon. She asked me if I could help her get an A/C unit and I am reaching out to see if it's possible.

Kinship caregivers recently accepted placement of their 10 month old great nephew. The family is in need of a crib, crib mattress and crib sheets. A crib will ensure safe sleep is being practiced. The family is also in need of a high chair. The high chair will provide a safe place for the baby to eat and help him develop self feeding skills.

Family with three small children recently moved and do not have any beds for the children. Only the father is working right now and just started his job, income is minimal. In need of beds for the children.

I have the privilege of working alongside a resilient and courageous client—a single mother of four, with her youngest just 5 months old. Over the past year, I’ve witnessed her endure an overwhelming number of hardships. During her pregnancy, she experienced homelessness, living out of her car while tirelessly seeking shelter, all without success.

Through her determination, she was eventually able to secure stable housing. Unfortunately, due to a recent incident of domestic violence involving the father of her children—who had been her only source of financial support—she is now facing eviction for nonpayment of rent. On top of this, she recently lost her car, which has made it impossible for her to work and maintain financial stability.

She has been reaching out to shelters for over a month, with no success. Thankfully, she has finally found a temporary place to stay that could offer her and her children some stability. However, she needs to come up with a $500 deposit to secure it.

Any support, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated. It will not only help her secure safe housing but also mark a crucial first step in rebuilding a stable and hopeful future for her and her children.

Help a single mom get into an apartment! Mom left a DV situation and has been staying temporarily with another family. She's been approved for her own apartment for herself and her 2 kids (7 and 17)! She has a good job and just needs a little help with the security deposit to get into the unit. Thank in advance for helping this family get into safe, stable housing!!
