A grandmother is caring for her grandchildren while her son is incarcerated. The parents’ absence has placed an emotional and financial strain on the household. I am requesting assistance for a family facing financial hardship and is behind on her electric bill. Providing support for this urgent need would help relieve some of the burden they are carrying and allow them to focus on caring for the children. Any assistance you can provide toward covering this utility bill would be a tremendous blessing and a critical step in helping this family remain safe, warm, and connected during this difficult season

The family fled domestic violence and entered an emergency shelter 2 months ago. Mother has been working on establishing stability to live independently and allow her to remain away from danger. The mother was success in the program at the emergency shelter and was granted a voucher for an apartment. Mother worked tirelessly through the program to get where she is today and is now moving into an apartment with absolutely no furniture, clothes, or anything in the home.

The Department is assisting in getting beds for the children, but mom is still needing somewhere to sleep and could benefit from at minimum at least the mattress portion of the bed.

A youth in foster care has recently discovered his love for sports and has joined a baseball camp that starts soon. He is in need of a baseball bat as well as other baseball required gear. Anything would help make this kiddo's world light up.

A 7 year old female was just reunified with her biological mother. The mother has full time employment but is still struggling financially. The two are living in a home with a one-bedroom closet. The family would benefit from having a dresser or cube storage organizer.

I have a family of 6: a mom, dad, 6-year-old boy, 4-year-old girl, 1-year-old girl, and 6-month-old baby. The parents are not working, and they moved in with their grandparents. The 1-year-old is turning 2 this month, and they want to transition her to a toddler bed from a crib. They need a toddler bed. Transitioning from a crib to a small toddler bed will help with the space of the room because they have to fit all the beds in one room.

I have a family of 6: a mom, dad, 6-year-old boy, 4-year-old girl, 1-year-old girl, and 6-month-old baby girl. The parents are not working, and their car recently got repossessed. They need $1,400 to get their car back. They need transportation to get a job and transport their children to medical appointments. The 6 months baby girl is having heart surgery in July.

Mother has recently become a single parent. She was reliant on her spouse to meet all of the family's needs but has since been leaning on her family support system and community resources to rebuild for her and her 5 children. She is currently unemployed but looking for jobs. She recently informed me she gathered items to sell in her home so she could buy the children's school clothes but when she left the home, someone went in her backyard and stole her item's and now she has no money to purchase the children's school clothing. She has requested assistance form the department in getting school uniforms and shoes for her 3 oldest children.

The mother is the only financial provider and dad recently lost his job, the kids does not have proper beds to sleep in and their trailer is very old almost falling apart. All five children have special needs. The trailer has bed bug, roaches and need help cleaning.

We are currently serving a survivor of trafficking who is a single mom of five (all ages 5 and under). Over the past 2.5 years, her biggest priority has been her kids and making a better life for them.

This month, she is in the process of moving into a bigger place! She is moving from a two bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house, which will be much more accommodating for her family’s unique needs.

With more space, comes the need for more furniture. We are asking for a refrigerator, a washer and dryer. These are all items that were provided with her apartment but will not be able to take with her to her house and needs them. She is also needing a table and chairs as she did not have space for them but will now!

Disclaimer: She is set to move in July 1st, so we would not need the items delivered until AFTER that date due to lack of space.

HI! We are working with a sibling group of 3 kids placed with their aunt and uncle. They have been in and out of DHS custody throughout their lives. The request is for the eldest 11 yr old daughter. She has continually filled the void left by her absent and overwhelmed mother. She has taken on the adult roles and responsibilities, particularly emotional & practical caretaking, for her siblings, and parents before she was developmentally ready. She has had little opportunity to be a child. She is extremely strong & courageous. She is very intelligent, energetic, creative and kind. The request is for $400.00 to pay for her to attend camp. It is an overnight summer camp in the Arbuckle Mountains of Southern Oklahoma. Campers ages 7-16. This camp provides adventure, learning, growth and fun! Variety of activities include Hiking, Rock climbing, Swimming, Paddle boarding, Kayaking & canoeing, Archery, Recreational games, Campfire ceremonies, and Horseback riding. Gaining skills and confidence to propel her forward in life, exploring her potential and building confidence. It will be a journey of personal growth while creating unforgettable memories and friendships. The Summer 2025 Overnight Camp is $950. for a One-Week Session in July 2025. DHS applied for financial assistance, and we hope to get everything covered except the $300. We would love if you could help!

I have a family who is dealing with a lot of needs with the Mother of the adopted children, adult sibling being the only caregiver having to care for her Mom with severe medical issues including her not being coherent and having mental and vision difficulties, her Autistic son with very angry outbursts, younger sibling who was adopted and has behavioral issues from trauma before she was adopted, and her own medical needs and dealing with a cyst she has. This Adult sibling is trying her hardest to get to all appointments in caring for her family, but it has put a burden on her working, and she hasn't been able to work in the past 4 weeks. Every time the adult sibling tries to leave for work, she is called back to the home to assist in some kind of matter. So, I am requesting for a grocery card to help this family until hopefully she can reapply for food stamps and also a punching bag to help the Autistic Son with his angry outbursts as he likes to punch things when he is angry.

Single mother of 7 children placed her kids with relatives. One of the relatives is now caring for two boys, 7 and 9 years old. The boys need summer clothing that fits. The mother is struggling financially and can't provide for all of her kids at this time. The caregiver is employed, however she can't afford to purchase clothing for the boys at this time. 7yo needs Size 7 clothing 9yo needs Size 9/10
