I have a child that is 15 who is placed with kinship but does not have a bed. The family is unable to provide him with a bed and it is very important we get one.

This family is involved with DCS due to inappropriate discipline and lack of parenting skills. The parents are fully engaged in services and using their new skills to better their family life. One of the skills they are currently working on is home cleanliness and organization. They do not have dressers for all the children in the home and do not have a place to hold or store clothing for the children, their clothes are piled on the floor. This request is for, two dressers.

I have a single mom that has 6 kids that had to uproot and leave her husband due to him using substances. This mom is having to start over and could benefit for these items.

Family is currently behind on their homeowners insurance. They have a contract for rent to own through their landlord that it has to remain active in order to keep their renters contract current and not be evicted. The family has been doing good on services and is currently on a Trial home visit. They owe $535 to allstate by 05/23. There are 7 kids in the home with one on the way the kids range from 1 years old to 13 years old. If they get evicted they will have no where to go, this will help prevent removal and close the case. They have a budget and plan to help with maintaining the bill after it gets caught up.

The home insurance company has extended the family's due date for their home insurance. It needs to be paid by the end of the week 05/30/2025. Paying this will keep the family from being evicted and keep the kids from being removed.

The family is currently on trial home visit and the mother just recently had a new baby. Mother was just recently able to go back to work, but is in need of summer clothes for the baby and 5 year old. Size 5 to 6 for the 5 year old and size 6 months or 6-9 for the baby. The family would also benefit from a storage container to organize the stuff in. The mother is doing well for herself and will hopefully close successfully and on time without a trial home visit extension.

The family is at the end of a trial home visit, but is in need of a dryer. They have been without a dryer for awhile now and it is affecting the school attendance of one of the kids. The child does not want to go to school in dirty or wet clothes. The family is also in need of totes with lids to help with storage and organization. The case was open for home conditions, they have been maintaining it, but are in need of more things to help with storage of toys and clothes to keep the home at minimum standards and prevent future DCS involvement.

Family of 5 Mother, Husband, and 3 sons in our community require TWO dressers for their childrens clothing so the clothing is kept off the floor and walkways clear. With this the boys will learn to put away their belongings orderly and help their parents to maintain their household tidiness.

A mother who is currently residing in Clay City is needing a water pump in order to get water from the lake into the house. Mother is in the process of starting her new job and won't be able to afford the new pump for awhile. Mother has shown substantial progress in her case plan and is needing a water pump to help ensure that she is able to meet cleaning needs, hygeine needs, and cooking.

This is the last big barrier to reunification and would assist with speeding up the process if one could be donated to her.

We have a family of 6 who are in need of dressers. The Department is currently working with the family to assist with organization and improving home conditions. Mother is working part time in the evenings and only recently obtained this job. The providers working with the family have provided some totes for clothing but there still remains many bags of clothes that would be eliminated with the use of dressers in the home. There are 4 children in the home.

MCC Family Refuge is working with a family that has been involved with DCS and MCC Fostering Hope for many years now. The family consists of a single mom and 4 kids. Mom has a job and due to a housing safety concern was required to make an immediate move. Many of the items that "make a home" had to be left behind, they just need help getting started. Our Family Refuge staff will continue to work with mom to make sure she can maintain household needs. Mom has been working with other agencies and they have supplied beds for each child but household items are still needed at this time. This family calls MCC home and it would be a blessing to come along side them to provide some comfort items. MCC was contacted by our local Crisis Pregnancy Center with some needs for a young mom and her twin boys. Mom has been able to secure housing and is working on caring the best she can for her twin 2-year-old little boys. She is currently active in many classes offered at CPC and has been for the last year. Safety, hygiene, and keeping the home clean are some of her greatest needs. Supporting this family with some of these basic needs will allow her time to safely bond with her two little boys. Clothing and PJ sizes 2T and 3T one twin is a bit bigger :)!

We have a bio mom that has achieved stable housing for her four kids. She is in need of two twin complete needs (mattress and frames). She would also like to gave dressers for both of them. This assistance would help continue to stable environment for the mother.
