New Seasons Church

We are looking to help a single mom of 4 young children as she transitions into a 3 Bedroom apartment. To help her focus her limited resources on her children's needs, she is asking for a few household items that they need. Specifically, she is in need of all the basic cleaning supplies (mop, broom, sponges, all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, sponges, dish detergent), pots and pans, curtains for the bedrooms (47" x 47"), some storage shelves, and a microwave. We appreciate all the support!

The family is in need of a washer and dryer for the home. Any help from the community is appreciated.

The mother switched jobs to be home with her children daily instead of just weekends, but it has resulted in a significant pay cut for the family. The mother has requested help for school clothing and shoes for the children in the form of gift cards. Any support from the community is greatly appreciated.

The department is currently working with a family of four children and two adults. The family is currently cleaning out their home and organizing it in an attempt to improve the home conditions. The family is in need of a dumpster to get rid of trash and clutter throughout the home.

The department is currently working with a family who resides in the Fancy Gap area. The mother recently left the father due to a domestic violence situation and is struggling to make ends meet. The mother is currently several months behind on her car payment and the car is at risk of being repossessed. The mother is also in need of assistance with gas as she is in search of a job. The mother also could benefit from a Walmart gift card as the children are in need of toiletries due to the mother's financial hardship.

The department is currently working with a family in the Galax area. The family has currently experienced a financial hardship as their brakes on their vehicle have gone out. The family has taken their vehicle to the One Stop auto mechanic shop. However, the family is having a financial hardship and is struggling to pay their bills.

The parents are in need of financial assistance with the home conditions. They need repairs to the home and are on a fixed income. The floor in the home needs to be replaced. The family has an estimated cost of $500 for replacing the floor in home.

We are looking to help a young mom of 4 children. Her second oldest son is severely autistic (non-verbal), and suffers from ARFID (Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder). He attends a school year round in Wytheville, but specific foods have to be provided to the school, and of course at home too. She does have food assistance, however much of the funds are consumed by his very specific food requirements. We are entering this request in the form of a monthly "sponsorship", hoping that multiple churches, individuals, organizations will sign up to sponsor 1 month over the course of the next year. We believe we will then enter a new request the following year.

The mom has suggested that the food be delivered directly to the school (which would cover 2 of his 3 meals each day), or food items can be provided to her home (in Pulaski County). Addresses will be provided for those who sign up to help. Food needs to be delivered to either the school or her home by the 15th of the month that you sign up to help. Specific food items include: 6 boxes (family size) of Nabisco Chicken in a Biskit crackers ($36), 4 bags Doritos spicy Chile flavor ($24), 3 12 packs Lipton Diet Green tea ($21) and 4 boxes Kroger Brand strawberry frosted pastries ($10) - total around $100 per month.
