I have a grandmother on my case load who recently obtained guardianship of her granddaughter. My client recently had knee surgery and is going through a slow recovery process. My client has fallen behind on some of her utilities due to missing work. My client would greatly benefit from having any financial utility assistance. Thank you for all you do for our families.

Single mom is needing assistance with air conditioning. Her air conditioner went out and the technician told her today that they will order the part tomorrow and it will not be here until the end of the week or possibly next week. They also said that if that did not fix it, she would need a new system that she cannot afford and would also take longer to get that installed. The house consists of foster mom, 2 adult children, 1 other adult, 3 children placed in the home through kinship and 4 children placed in the home through traditional foster care. One of the children has special needs. They do not have anywhere to stay as they stated they are the home that everyone comes to stay at. This is an emergency need due to the heat and the children being home all day. We are asking for any assistance with HVAC help/discounts or suggestions.

A family with a 5-year-old child with developmental disability could greatly benefit with help purchasing sensory toys and communication tools that were lost in a move. These sensory items help regulate sensory input, manage stress, and enhance various skills. Communication tools are crucial for children with developmental disabilities, as they provide a visual, easily understandable way to express needs, emotions, and preferences. These tools can bridge communication gaps, reduce anxiety, and foster independence by making it easier for non-verbal children to communicate their needs and preferences. I am working a prevention case with this family that consists of mom, dad and their five children, who range in age from 6 months old to 11 years old. The family is needing assistance with getting caught up on some bills after their living room ceiling collapsed and they had to get it repaired. They are now late on essential utilities (ONG – 76.31 & OG&E – 166.67), their car payment ($506.86). They need assistance to get caught up before their services are shutoff. Any help at all is much appreciated.

A mother who has a kinship placement of a child, along with four children of her own, residing in the home; has had financial issues due to one of her children having severe health issues. Due to this reason, the mother has been unable to work. The mother is needing assistance with paying a percentage of her rent to maintain a home for her and her family. By helping this mother, will allow her and the family to remain united despite the times of adversity they are facing.

This summer, one of the boys in our program is excited to participate in a summer football camp hosted by a local high school in our area. This 7-week program is designed to improve overall strength, speed, and agility, helping young athletes prepare mentally and physically for the season ahead.

The Genesis Project has incorporated a "campus cash" store in which children are encouraged to earn "campus cash" and then purchase special items in the campus cash store. Children can earn "campus cash" by asking and completing extra chores, exhibiting positive behaviors with adults and peers, completing learning modules, and reaching therapy goals. The campus cash store has items that include new toys, books, remote controlled cars, hot wheels play sets, legos, new footballs, soccer balls, frisbees, squishy toys, fidgets, stuffed animals, and action figures. Once a week, the boys come to the campus cash store and purchase these items. The campus cash program teaches residents a variety of skills including money management, basic banking skills, saving skills, good purchasing skills, negotiation skills, and delayed gratification. This simple program helps develop a strong foundation for seeing how hard work and appropriate behaviors are rewarded for a basic life skill that will have a lasting impact through adulthood.
Our campus cash store is in need of "pre- teen" items. As each child is unique and has individual interests, the Genesis project is requesting gift cards to "Five and Below" stores. We are also interested in receiving donations of fishing tackle; men's body spray; NFL or OK university gear (caps, posters), cheap neck chains, magnetic dart boards, beanies, soccer slides, wallets, digital watches, snacks.

A mother is in need of a bus pass so that she can attend court, attend family time with her son, and complete her required services in order to be reunified with her son. She does not have a car of her own and cannot afford one and relies on services like the bus and uber to navigate the city. If she is gifted a bus pass it will be one less source of stress for her and give her the best chance of reunification.

Placement of two children of my home has faced financial struggles since losing job. This placement has stepped up in a critical time for the family to help with placement for the children. They would greatly benefit from some financial assistance with their electric bill. The electric bill is $670 past due and was put on a payment arrangement due to financial struggles but have not been able to pay the payment arrangement so all past due amount is due within 48 hours.

After surviving brutal labor trafficking on an Oklahoma farm, a father of three is beginning the long road to healing. Forced to work under inhumane conditions, he endured physical abuse, unsafe living quarters, and threats that kept him isolated and afraid. A life-threatening injury was his turning point—and his first step toward freedom.

Thanks to your support, he’s now receiving specialized advocacy, trauma therapy, and legal services. But this family's journey is far from over. While they work to rebuild a life of safety and dignity, there’s something beautiful they’re hoping to celebrate: his oldest daughter just graduated high school.

After years of instability and pain, this young woman has crossed a finish line that once seemed unreachable. Her father’s greatest wish? To take his family out for dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings—a small but meaningful celebration. But with nothing left after escaping trafficking, even this modest dream feels out of reach.

Two parents are in need of bus passes for transportation. The parents have been regularly attending visits and their required services but are now having car trouble preventing them from making those appointments. If they are provided bus passes, they will be able to continue to complete their services and see their kids to make progress towards reunification.

This kinship family, who are very young, are in need of a laptop or tablet in order to complete the proper training in order to maintain kinship placement. Training is completed on Zoom. The children are currently placed with their older sibling and he is just getting stable to care for them. The computer does not have to be new, but a working computer with a working camera and keyboard would suite them perfectly. If a computer is unavailable, a tablet with a working camera will suffice as well. If the family were to get assistance with receiving this device, it will allow the children to remain in the home with their older sibling in hopes for a bright future of them remaining united.
