This is a single mom family, the Father is not allowed in the home at this time. There are 3 children in the home ages 9,12,17. She is Assistance with repairs to a refrigerator.

A struggling mom, is living in a camper on her families property, she has a 10yo and needs help keeping him from coming into care. She needs Assistance with repairs to vehicle (parts already purchased, but needs help to get it lifted to work on it) Structural handyman repairs with camper Low-cost/free flooring/carpet for water-damaged flooring in camper

This is a family of 5. Father works full time to support his family, and the mother is a caretaker at home for their 3 children. The mother just had their 3rd baby 5/15 and dad had to take off work to care for the other children as well as be there for his child's birth. Due to this, his paycheck was short, and they do not have enough money to pay their rent this month. This is a one-time need as the father is back and work and working full time. Rent is due the 5th otherwise there is late fees. Family has part of the rent covered.

A determined mother is just steps away from reunifying with her 11 year old son. With a trial home visit set to begin soon, she’s working hard to meet every requirement—but she still needs a few essential items to make their home complete: a washing machine and a dresser.

Thanks to the Fostering Hope Closet, she has already received a twin bed and mattress for her son, along with a donated gas stove—removing two major barriers.

Now, your donation of a gently used or new item can help her take the final steps toward bringing her child home. This support isn’t just practical—it’s a lifeline of hope, stability, and a new beginning for a family on the path to healing.

A Family Stepping Up for Kin—Now in Need of Support

A local family with two children of their own recently opened their hearts and home to care for two young relatives who needed a safe and loving place to stay. Overnight, their household doubled in size—bringing both joy and new challenges as they work to create a stable and nurturing environment for all four children.

Through the Fostering Hope Closet, the family received two beds and mattresses, along with clothing and essential items to help ease the transition for the new children. This support has made a significant difference, giving the children a safe place to sleep and the comfort of having their own belongings.

However, the family is still in urgent need of a couch and a washer and dryer. With limited seating, gathering together as a family for quality time is difficult. A couch would provide a central place where these children can relax, connect, and feel at home.

A washer and dryer would meet a critical daily need. With four young children, laundry quickly becomes overwhelming. Having these appliances at home would ease the strain on both time and finances, allowing the caregivers to focus more fully on nurturing and supporting the children in their care.

These items will do more than furnish a home—they will help restore stability, dignity, and peace of mind to a family working hard to do the right thing in a difficult season.
