This is a Care Portal Request for a full size bed frame, full size mattress, full size sheets, pillows and a full size blanket or comforter for a 14 year old boy. His Aunt took custody of him due to his bio-mother passing away. The Aunt is elderly and on a fixed income, so she has a difficult time affording theses items.

I am reaching out to share the story of a local family of six who are in urgent need of support. They are currently living together in a small home that lacks even the most basic necessities. Right now, most of the family shares one or two beds, while others sleep on the floor or makeshift bedding. There are no dressers to store clothing, and no kitchen table where the family can sit down and eat together. The financial situation consists of the grandmother and mother doing everything she can to care for her children, but their income barely covers food and other essentials.

Single mother with two children and one on the way was battling homelessness for months. She was recently able to secure housing for herself and her family after relying on the shelter for months, but it has been a great challenge furnishing the home and providing her children with safe sleep environments. This mother is requesting help securing two twin beds (mattress and frame), comforters, and dressers. She is also having a hard time providing her CHRN with clothing and shoes so she is asking for help getting these for the children, her 3 year-old daughter wears a size 4T in clothes and 9 in shoes, while her 7 year old son wears a 5T in clothes and GS 11 in shoes.

This request would serve a family of 5; a mother, father, and their three children. The children consist of a 12-year-old girl, 9-year-old boy, and 6-year-old boy. The family has been homeless for over a year and has just obtained their own apartment. The family’s expenses have gone towards furnishing the apartment. This request is to ask for a mailbox for the family as the landlord refuses to purchase one for them. Mom expressed her mail has been left out in the open and she does not have the extra money to get one at this time. The family are in a new school district and will be expecting mail regarding this. This request will benefit the family as they can continue focusing on furnishing their apartment and not have to worry that they won’t receive necessary mail.

This family consists of a single mom with a 10 year old daughter with minimal support. Mom is struggling with support but maintains a clean home and is looking for some basic needs for the child and the home. The family is requesting clothing for the 10 year old girl - women's size Large and shoes - women's size 7, clothing for the mom size 2X and shoe size 11, pots and pans, a toaster, and fans.

This family is requesting shoes for 2 children and a dresser for storing clothes. There are two male children ages 1 1/2 and 3 and their shoe sizes are toddler 5-6 and 8. Thank you!
