This is an updated request for a mother whose apartment caught fire. She has been able to get some donated items, however, only needs a bed and dresser for her 13-year-old autistic daughter. The child is currently sleeping in a full bed with her mother. A bed and dresser would help her sleep better and have a sense of comfort through having a space of her own.

17 year old pregnant teen due May 29th. Teen has no social support/parental support. Teen is employed part time and going to school full time. Teen was approved for an apartment and is putting all of their money towards the first months rent and deposit. Teen's boyfriend is also 17 years old. Teen's boyfriend is also working part time and going to school full time. Teen's boyfriend has no social support. They are looking for a bed for their apartment. Their move in date is 5/14/25.

Mother and father share a 2 year old and recently gave birth to a preemie who is currently hospitalized awaiting heart surgery. Mom and dad were working at the time of delivery but have had to take off. Dad will return to work soon, but mom will likely not as she will be at the hospital with the baby and is also recovering from a c-section. Neither have paid leave. As the baby was early, there was no baby shower and the family will be in need of items when the baby comes home. Various baby items include bottles, pacifiers, blankets, clothing (likely 3 months by the time the baby is released) and other baby shower type items.

The mother has just obtained her own housing after leaving a relationship that was abusive and being homeless. She has limited furnishings. She also just completed services and has her 2 oldest children back in her care part time as well as a 1 year old and is pregnant. She is trying to start over. Obviously this is everything she needs, but even if you can a portion it would be great help to her. She is also willing to accept used items.

The grandmother and aunt were already raising aunt's three children. They have recently taken on 5 more children (grandchildren/nephews). They are all currently residing in a 2 bedroom apartment and there is not enough bedding. The mother is out of county working services, and the fathers are in prison. Grandmother is working and aunt is a stay at home mom as several of the children are not school age. They are in need of air mattresses that they can blow up at night and place in the floors of the bedrooms and living room and then deflate and store during the day to have space. I am requesting for 3 twins, but 1 full and 1 twin may also do.

As we approach the end of the school year, we are preparing to celebrate the hard-earned achievements of our graduating seniors. This year, however, we have seen a noticeable increase in the number of economically disadvantaged families who need to borrow a cap and gown for their students to participate in the ceremony.

While we are fortunate to have a limited number of caps and gowns available for loan, these must be returned after graduation. Unfortunately, this means that students will not be able to keep a traditional graduation tassel with their class year; a small but meaningful keepsake of a significant milestone.

Whether through a monetary donation to purchase tassels, or by donating new tassels directly, your support would allow students, regardless of their financial situation, to leave graduation with something to commemorate their achievement.

The family is in need of two twin size beds with mattresses included for two girls.

We would like assistance with a single mother who has three children, 11. 8 and 5 years old. She has been the victim of a fire in her last residence, which has lett her with pretty much nothing. She is working, and is residing currently in Waxahachie Housing Aurhority. She needs one complete twin bed for one of her daughers, and a full box spring for her son. She really would love a church to walk alongside her. She needs love and support right now, as she tries to get her life together for her and her children. If you can help, you would be making a huge difference in this mother's life.

A 15-year-old has had braces on and was supposed to get them taken out in January. The doctor will not do this until full payment is made on the braces and the mother has been struggling to manage financially so money has not been able to be allocated to the braces payment. Her due amount is $218 and the youth will be able to get them out. She wants the braces out so she can have a comfortable feeling in her mouth again.

A single mother who has just left a domestic violence marriage is in need of clothing and shoes for her twins. Her son and daughter are 6yrs old. Her son's size is an 8 in boys, and his shoe size is 12. Her daughter's size is 6 in girls clothing and she does not need any shoes.

I’m reaching out on behalf of a single mother of four children who is in urgent need of support. She lost her husband a few years ago and has been doing her best to care for her children on her own. Recently, she was let go from her job after missing work to care for one of her children, who is very sick. She is actively searching for new employment but has not had any luck yet. With no income and no support system, she’s now struggling to keep up with her bills. Just yesterday, she received notice that her electricity will be shut off next Friday if she is unable to pay her bill. The total amount needed to prevent the disconnection is $600. Please keep this family in your prayers, and if you are able to help financially, any donation toward this $600 would be deeply appreciated to help keep their power on during this difficult time. Grandmother caring for her 2 grandchildren needs mattress and bedding to provide a safe and healthy home in order to maintain the kinship placement. This family is living on a limited income and is need of a twin mattress with bedding, plus bedding for a queen size bed in order to provide a clean and comfortable living space for the children. The goal is to make the house safe and adequate so that the family can stay together.
