The mother recently sustained a fractured foot and a sprain in the other, and is currently using crutches and wearing a medical boot. She is the sole caregiver for her four children, ages 8, 2, 1, and a newborn. The family is temporarily residing in an extended stay hotel and is experiencing significant financial hardship. The children are currently in need of milk/formula and food. Although the mother receives food stamp benefits, they have been depleted and will not replenish until 5/23/25. She currently has only $5 in her bank account. The children's father is currently detained in jail, and as a result, the mother has had to stop working to care for the children full-time. Her extended family lives in New Jersey and is unable to offer financial support.

Walton County has a newly turned 19 year old foster child who is residing in an independent living program, attending cosmetology school full time. She had a birthday at the end of April and has expressed she would enjoy a Nintendo Switch Mini Animal Crossing bundle. We would love to surprise her and be able to present this gift to her considering she is working very hard to complete cosmetology school so she can obtain a job and further her independence.

Please help preserve three foster children with their relative placement! White County DFCS has 3 children placed with their grandfather who resides in Walton County. This grandfather has taken on caring for his three young grandchildren. During the home assessment, it was noted that there is a substantial amount of items or clutter that is causing them pause with the approval.
The grandfather is in need of assistance obtaining a storage building. The grandfather would greatly benefit from assistance paying for the storage building for three months. This helps him get through the home evaluation process and supports him as he balances medical appointments for the children. The grandfather would also greatly benefit from any and all assistance with hauling the items to the storage unit. He has a lot of the items already packed into boxes. This helps preserve children being with biological family and helps the home to be able to be approved to maintain that familiar bond. Thank you!

To achieve her educational goals, she will need reliable transportation via MARTA three days a week to attend her classes. Her mother is lovingly stepping in to care for her grandson while she focuses on her studies, but unfortunately, her mother is currently unemployed and unable to cover the cost of MARTA fares.

In addition to her classes, this dedicated young woman visits the courthouse monthly to meet with her probation officer, who is guiding her in envisioning a hopeful path forward. To facilitate her education and potential future employment, we kindly request assistance in providing her with a monthly MARTA card.

A single mother of seven children recently secured stable employment to support her family. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity and is determined to maintain her position. However, transportation remains a barrier, as she cannot access a personal vehicle and lives in an area where the Gwinnett County bus line is unavailable. The client will rely on Uber to commute to and from work until she has saved enough funds to purchase a vehicle. Each one-way trip costs approximately $10. She is requesting assistance in the form of an Uber gift card for $100 to help cover her transportation costs as she stabilizes her finances.

The kinship home needs school uniforms and shoes for two young children, a 3-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl.

However, early in the pregnancy, the expectant mother experienced a serious hemorrhage and has since been placed on strict bedrest to protect both her health and the health of her unborn child. This sudden change has made it impossible for her to continue working, significantly reducing the family’s household income.

While her husband continues to work and care for their child, the family is struggling to keep up with essential expenses. They are currently seeking assistance with a utility bill in the amount of $116, which is overdue. This support would provide immediate relief and help ensure that their home remains a safe and stable environment during this critical time.

Despite the challenges, the couple remains faithful and hopeful, trusting in the kindness of their community. Your support—no matter how small—would make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Mom's apartment recently flooded, damaging some of her furniture. She needs a dining table set for four. Mom has two sons, aged 5 and 9, and she is incredibly loving, always doing her best for her family. Although she only requested a dining table, she mentioned to her case manager that the water also ruined her couch. If possible, Mom would appreciate a couch donation as well, but she prefers to prioritize the dining table.

We are a loving family of six, comprised of four wonderful girls aged 7, twins aged 12, and a vibrant 16-year-old. Recently reunited with their forever home after foster care, the twins need special support to ensure their transition is as smooth as possible.

We are seeking pull-ups in size 5T/6T and some regular children’s underwear to keep our little ones comfortable. Clothing and food assistance would greatly benefit our family during this time.

Given that the twins are medically fragile, a sturdy wagon would be a wonderful help for taking all the children on joyful walks with their parents. Lastly, if possible, we are hoping to acquire medical equipment like feeding tube holders to ensure the twins receive the care they need. An 11-year-old boy recently entered a voluntary kinship placement after being removed from his father's care due to his father's struggles with drug addiction. He arrived at his new kinship home without any clothing. The boy needs pants in sizes 14-15, junior shirts in medium to large, and shoes in sizes 8-9. This transition has been challenging for him, and the lack of basic necessities like clothing adds to the emotional and physical difficulties he is facing. Donating clothes would not only fulfill an urgent need but also show this young boy that he is not alone—that there are people who care and want to support him during this uncertain time.

A young single mother in rehab is working hard to rebuild her life for herself and her one-year-old son. During this transition, she is struggling to provide basic necessities. Her son, who wears size 0–6 diapers, urgently needs more. While the mother is focused on healing and becoming the best version of herself, the immediate need for baby supplies weighs heavily on her. Any assistance with diapers would significantly alleviate her burden and support her journey toward a healthier, more stable future for her child.

The family needs help with rent. Due to the child having cerebral palsy, the mom is only permitted to work a few days out of the month. Due to the mother only being able to work a few days out of the month, she has fallen behind on her rent. She is close to being evicted. Her rent is $1500 a month. Any amount will help the family.
