We have a mom who is struggling with paying for groceries for 5 kids. We would love to give them some support to help keep the family together. Mom has been doing her best on her own to provide for her kids. We would like to get her an $100 dollar grocery gift card.

Walton County is looking for assistance to support a 17 year old foster child.
This child has overcome a great deal within the last few months. She was previously engaging in risky behaviors after running from her placement. After being located, she has worked very hard in services and has clear goals for herself. She graduated with her GED in May and has just recently obtained a job with Moe's! She is interested in pursuing additional education and has been spending her time applying to schools and obtaining letters of recommendation. At this time, she would benefit from an Amazon gift card so she can purchase non-slip shoes and black t-shirts for work. She also advised she would benefit from having a laptop. This would benefit her with college applications and classes as she gets accepted and starts classes. When the purchase of a laptop was mentioned to her in court, she was ecstatic! We would be very appreciative of any support we can provide this child so we can encourage her in pursuing her dreams and remaining on the current positive path she has taken.

The family consists of a single mother and her two sons, aged 10 and 13. The mother currently does not have health insurance and needs help completing an assessment that will support her mental health and aid in successfully fulfilling her reunification case plan with the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS). On behalf of the family, I am requesting assistance from the community. This support will greatly benefit both the mother and her sons.

DFCS has an open case for a family in need of a twin size mattress for a child's bed. The family is working to ensure safety and that all needs are met. BMo is currently unemployed as she is caring for an 11 month old, 1 year old, and 4 year old.

The child we are assisting will be transitioning to a Kinship placement on 06/17. The kinship placement is in need of a car seat and base. The child has been utilizing a car seat from the current placement, but the car seat will not be able to go with the baby. The kinship placement reached out for assistance. The child is nearly 7 months old.

The children (4 girls) were removed due to substance abuse and inadequate housing. Since being in care the parents have maintained visitations with the girls and have worked on their sobriety and housing issues. Both parents have remained clean for over 12 months. The patents and a younger son have lived in a hotel room for the majority of the case. The family has recently moved into a 3 bedroom apartment. The parents were also granted a trial home placement earlier this year with the girls now that there is adequate housing for all of the children. Both parents are employed and are working hard to fully furnish the apartment. With 5 children in the home ranging in ages from 1 - 12, the family needs a dining room table for meal time and possible homework space. The apartment has a washer dryer connection. It would be great if the family could get a washer and dryer. This would save the family the time and money of going to the laundromat to do the laundry for a family of 7

A foster parent is in need of money for an expedited passport so they can take one of their foster children on a vacation in July. This will help the child to have some normalcy in their life.

We are requesting support in the form of $50 gift cards for six new youth entering our emergency shelter to help them purchase underwear, basic clothing, and shoes. Many of the youth who arrive at Positive Impact International come with only the clothes on their backs and no access to essential items. Providing a gift card allows them the dignity of choosing items that fit their size, style, and comfort needs—something most of them have not had the opportunity to do. This small but meaningful gesture helps restore a sense of normalcy, boosts self-esteem, and reinforces our commitment to treating every youth with compassion and respect as they begin their journey to stability and healing.

At Positive Impact International, we provide 24/7 care to homeless and at-risk youth, parenting youth and your with special needs aged 12-21 in our six emergency shelter homes. With 26 beds and full-time house parents, our homes are always active—serving meals, supporting youth routines, and maintaining clean, safe spaces. Basic essentials like toilet paper and paper towels are in constant use and high demand. These items are often overlooked but are absolutely critical to maintaining hygiene, comfort, and dignity for the youth in our care. Ongoing access to these supplies ensures our shelters can continue operating smoothly and that our young residents feel cared for in a clean, home-like environment. I am assisting a grandmother who is financially overwhelmed and has her grandson placed with her. She needs assistance with a gas bill that is $102. She would love to continue providing a stable home and any assistance towards the bill would be appreciated.

I am reaching out to request financial support on behalf of my client, a dedicated mother of two young children who is currently navigating a difficult financial period due to her daughter’s special needs. She has always placed her children’s well-being above all else, but recent circumstances have created a temporary hardship.

Several months ago, my client made the difficult decision to leave her job in order to care for her autistic daughter, after multiple daycare centers were unable or unwilling to accommodate her needs. Concerned for her daughter’s safety and emotional well-being, she chose to become her full-time caregiver.

Although she has received some assistance through a Navigator for essentials such as food, clothing, and basic necessities, her inability to work full-time has placed a significant strain on her finances. She is currently relying on contract work with Amazon to support her family.

At this time, financial assistance is urgently needed to help her maintain her car, which is vital for continuing her Amazon work. This support would provide her with the stability she needs to care for her children while working toward a more sustainable, long-term solution for her daughter’s care.
