Two children; a girl age 4 and a boy age 6, were recently placed in foster care. The plan is to place the children in the home with their grandmother. The grandmother is on a fixed income and is struggling financially and is unable to purchase necessary items for the children. The children are in need of booster seats for the car and toddler beds. The family is asking for help with any of the items listed or a gift card to Walmart to purchase the items.

The current kinship placement is requesting help with obtaining a crib mattress for a 1 month old newborn baby that was placed in their care. Currently, the baby is sleeping in a bassinet, and the family would like help in obtaining a mattress for the crib.

A provider that has taken in three grandchildren, who is on a low income has had a hard time keeping up with the demands of the growing children. The children are now getting older and the provider is in need of diapers, and walking chairs for the children as they are now starting to move. The provider is asking for a $200 gift card to help her purchase these items for the children. The provider is thankful for any help that is received.

The Department is working with a father whose 1-year-old is currently placed in foster care while he addresses the concerns that caused the case to open. He is currently in need of assistance with the purchase of size 3 Huggies diapers and baby wipes for family time. This father is getting engaged in all services, participating in visits, and highly motivated towards a reunification. Any assistance with this need so that this father can continue to focus on his case and bringing his daughter home is greatly appreciated!

A 12 years old boy only started attending school for the last 2 weeks of the 23-24 school year. He is going into 7th grade and cannot do basic math and cannot read fluently, though he has made progress in letter and sight word recognition with his tutor over the summer. It is essential that this child continue tutoring services for the month of July to get ready for school in August. He is making growth very quickly. Tutoring occurs two times a week for two hour sessions for the entire month of July, totaling a cost of $1100. We are requesting a check to cover these funds.

Family has left a situation that helps further DHS/court involvement. Family was not able to get belongings. Family needs diapers and wipes size 5 and the other wears size 3. The family needs clothing a boy size 10/12, Girl 10/12, a boy size 4t, a female 3t and another female 12months. If clothing can no be bought or donated, the family would like a gift card for $100 for diapers and wipes and $200-$300 for clothing for all 5 children. Family does not have access to their banking account and children are not able to get their clothing from their old home. ROIs are attached.

This family lost more than half of their income and are being impacted by the loss of multiple family members. They are in crucial need of support. A mother supports her two children and her two adults sons are assisting in paying for the bills. They are in need of a $110 to assist in paying this essential bill. They were able to pay $100 but are in need of additional support.

The mother of the children (3 children) is currently asking for support to pay her rent for the month of July. The children are currently in the care of the Department and the mother is working towards her treatment plan. Hotel needed!
DHS is involved with this family due to DV between Mom and BF. Dad has stepped up to help his daughters (12,15) and meets with them on different occasions throughout the week. Dad is disabled and doing the best he can. We are asking for help with paying for a hotel, $500 is requested. Dad is working towards getting custody of his daughters and this request would help the family get into housing. Thank you so much for your consideration!! The family greatly appreciates it.
