The families we work with don't always have the financial resources to purchase carbon monoxide detectors or smoke detectors or fire extinguishers. They are going without these safety measures which are potentially putting themselves and their children at risk. We often work with families that have children who require a higher level of supervision and may need to lock up certain medications due to accidental ingestion or intentional overdose. Medical lock boxes would help keep children safe from medications both prescription and over the counter.
When working with our families we try to support them with resources to help them become self sufficient. Sometimes they lack the financial resources to have gas that is needed for their children's medical appointments or to get them to school.

A single father is having difficulty with bed bugs in the home. They are in need of extermination treatment for the bed bugs but the family does not have the financial resources to obtain the treatment. The child is also in need of a large youth winter jacket. Any assistance that you can provide to help improve the child's wellbeing would be extremely helpful!

A grandmother recently obtained emergency custody of her three grandchildren ages 11, 12, and 14. The grandmother is in need of either twin sized bunk bed or twin size over a full-size bunk bed for two of the children. A bunk bed is preferred due to limited space in her home.

The children were emergently removed from their home and the 12-year-old child lost his Nintendo Switch that he plays daily for emotional support. If there is a way to get him a new one to help him during this time that has already been difficult on him after he and his siblings were abruptly removed from their home with no personal belongings.

A family which includes a mother, father and three children recently moved into their own home. They are struggling to keep up with laundry since their dryer doesn't work. They do have a washer, but do not have the space to hang dry their laundry. They are hoping to be provided with a dryer, but in the meantime are looking for assistance for paying for the laundromat.
