Client recently took in her niece from foster care the last week of March and has no baby items at all. Client explained that her niece was dropped off with the county car seat, but since the car seat was taken back, has no way of driving and getting around with her niece. Her niece is 2 months old, and is high needs due to extenuating circumstances with the mother.

Client is looking for an infant car seat that straps into the car, and prefers Graco 0-65lbs. Client expressed needing a car seat as soon as she can get one, so she is able to take her niece with to appointments and other trips.

Per First Care's policy the car seat must be new. Thank you!

My client is a single mom of three children (2 yr old girl, 13 mos old girl, baby boy). She recently gave birth in January to a healthy baby. My client was injected wrong with an epidural causing her medical conditions and migraines due to this My client can't go back to work for another 6 months. My client was previously homeless and as of this month has finally moved into her own apartment with her three children. My client is in need of a few household items for the children and herself. My client worked hard to be housed and would have worked if only there wasn't a medical accident.

My client is a young mother of 2 children. One of the children turned 1 in March while the other is only 3 months old (both girls). The young mother is working hard to utilize services and support to be able to provide for her two children. The young mother signed up for benefits and is still waiting to hear back on the determination. My client is in need of basic needs for the home and for her two daughters.

This family is a single mom with a one year old daughter who is expecting another daughter next month. Mom has had some medical issues that have caused her to miss some of her work and caused additional stress. She has been homeless and staying with family members and is working towards getting her own apartment. Mom is highly motivated and wants the best for herself and her daughters. Unfortunately, dad is not in the picture to help support her in the raising of their children.

The children need diapers (infant size 1 and size 6) and wipes. Infant girl clothes for summer, swaddles, pacifiers and teethers, infant toys, bottles (Avent/Dr. Brown), double stroller to fit a toddler and infant, Various Baby Supplies: baby shampoo/body wash, lotion (sensitive skin/eczema), bibs, bottle brushes

Mom is working with various interventions to address family violence and mental health needs for the family. The support provided will offer relief so Mom can focus on legal matters, connecting with service providers, and focus on creating a safe home for the children. The family needs assistance with cleaning supplies, household items, and hygiene items.

Mom is a single parent with 3 girls (ages 17 yrs, 10 yrs, and 4 yrs). Mom had to step away from her full-time work to address her mental health and is struggling to meet the basic needs of her family. The support provided will offer relief so Mom can focus on her mental health needs and connect with community resources. The family needs help with household items, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.

A resilient single mother of five (ages: 10 yr old girl, 7 yr old boy, 6 yr old girl, 4 yr old boy and 3 yr old boy) is facing overwhelming challenges after a series of devastating events. Recently, the family’s home suffered severe damage due to a bathroom overflow, impacting multiple levels. While temporarily staying in a hotel to maintain safe and stable housing for her children, their home was tragically broken into — leaving them with almost nothing. Despite these hardships, this mother continues to take brave steps to ensure her family’s safety and stability. However, they are still in need of essential household items to help rebuild a sense of normalcy. Immediate Needs: Towels and washcloths, Dining table, and an Iron for the children’s school uniforms. Every donation can make a tremendous difference. Whether it’s gently used items or new purchases, your generosity can help restore comfort and hope.

A family living in the neighborhood of the pastor of our church has been displaced for over 2 years due to major mold problems in the home and insufficient funds to renovate. Husband has been doing most of the work on his own after coming home from his FT job, while his wife and their two kids live with relatives. Funds toward building materials will help speed up the process for the family to be reunified as quickly as possible. Gift cards to Home Depot and Menards will help husband get the necessary materials to finish the project. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Spanish speaking couple of low economic means is requesting a thick area rug approximately 12' x 12' to cover cold ceramic flooring in at least one area of their apartment. 15-month-old daughter is happy to crawl on wooden floor in another apartment but doesn't like to be on ceramic floor and is missing important time crawling and developing skill in walking. If possible, a lighter neutral color is preferred, as apartment has limited windows and lighting. Per our organization's policy, we request only new items. Thank you.

This is a family that is facing eviction. The family members include: a first grade student, and her Mom and Dad. They live within Roseville. The family owes $7000.00 in rent and needs to pay it by April 30th. I know that is a large amount, so even some of it would be helpful.

Mom is a single parent who has experienced a significant amount of trauma in her own childhood and into her adulthood. She is now raising her daughter alone with very limited social supports and trying to create a better life than what she had for her daughter. Mom is very motivated and wants to start her own business and has been working towards that but due to constant financial setbacks she is always struggling to move forward with the goals for her family.

Additional specifications for requests: Cleaning Supplies (dish cleaner, Windex, laundry soap, dryer sheets, garbage bags, all purpose cleaners, toilet cleaners, etc.); Gas Cards (Holiday is preferred); Groceries (not picky, lactose free, no seafood); Personal care items (hand soap, bar soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, kids soap, Aquaphor lotion, Cetaphil lotion, deodorant, Kleenex); Cat Supplies (cat food, cat litter)

This family has been homeless for over a year and have been living in a shelter for the majority of the time. They finally have their own housing but due to being in the shelter, they do not have household items to truly make their house feel like a home. Additionally, mom and her children (boys ages 5 & 6, girl age 3) struggle with PTSD due to many of the things they have been through, and having comfortable and stable housing will give them more opportunities to take care of their mental health.

Her children's attendance at school has not been very good due to their housing difficulties, and now that they have housing we hope that it will improve. They are smart kids but missing out on so much instruction has caused them to fall behind. They love being at school and we hope so much that they will be able to come as much as possible.

Any amount of groceries would be a huge help. Any amount of cleaning supplies and dishes/pots/pans would be very helpful for the family of 4.
