After being separated, bio mom has been reunified with her teen daughter in a trial reunification. She has not been able to secure long term bedding for her daughter. She currently is renting a bed frame and mattress and due to limited finances cannot afford to keep this up. To help her successfully reunify we are asking for a twin-size bed frame and mattress. We are currently working with a family that consists of an expecting mother due in September, husband/ father, 4 year old boy, and 8 year old girl. During this time, the family has been working to improve the stability and environment of their home. The family is motivated to continue improving their environment and maintaining their home. The family is in need of an air conditioning unit, a gas stove [gently used is fine], and storage supplies for their bathroom including a lock box for their medications. I am requesting assistance with securing a storage unit for a client who is preparing to enter treatment with her child. A local storage facility offers 5x7 units for $55 per month, with a one-time $15 activation fee. I am requesting approval for three months of storage rental, totaling $165, plus the $15 activation fee, for a total of $180. This storage unit is necessary to safely store the family's belongings while they are in treatment. The client has an important interview scheduled today and will have more information following that appointment. Approval of this request will help support the client’s transition into treatment and reduce barriers to participation.

Help support a current foster home that has a baby who is crawling around. The placement has requested support for baby gates for an open room and the fire place in the home. They want to ensure that this child is able to move around the home safely and provide more security for the child. They will need one extended gate for the open space in the living room and two baby gates to have the fireplace enclosed and blocked off.

We are currently working with a family of three in Kay county for almost four months. The family consists of two parents and one baby girl. The family is working towards reunifying with their older child and they would like assistance in creating a safe and comfortable home for their children. The family is in need of an A/C window unit, as the home is very warm. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and allow this family another avenue of support and the feeling of community. Three babies just turned 6 months old. They are starting sit up on their own and are eating baby food puree. These triplets are in a safety plan with their great grandmother while their mother works with DHS to become sober and maintain sobriety. The great grandmother works a full-time job to provide the triplets with diapers, clothes, and food, all while maintaining her ability to pay her rent and bills. The babies need highchairs to facilitate mealtimes now that they are eating purees in addition to formula. Due to limited space in the great grandmother's house, the highchairs need to be able to fold to be put away. Amazon has some folding, portable highchairs that would help this family significantly, but they are out of the great grandmother's financial ability.

This teen is currently at JobCorp in Tahlequah and is doing very well. He recently qualified for braces, but due to new standards by SoonerCare, SoonerCare will only pay for the first year cost. This teen will have about $1360 dollars leftover upon completing the braces treatment. We would really like to not start this teen off with debt and worry about debt. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP ANY PORTION OF THIS AMOUNT OR THE FULL AMOUNT. Again this teen is working on hard at JobCorp and we would really like for him to start off debt free.

A bio family needs help with obtaining a new car seat for their child. By getting this new Cosco Kids Entrada Convertible Car Seat, Shady Day, Infant & Toddler seat from Walmart, the child will be able to fit more comfortably in her seat than her current infant carry as the child is out growing the infant carry fast. With this new car seat the parents will not have to obtain a new car seat for years. The child will be able to fit in this new car sear much more comfortably and will be able to stay in it for years.

I am putting together emergency food bags for families during summer school and during the summer. I am needing some help purchasing food items to make up the bags for the families who might be in need. I do not work after June and want items to be available if I am contacted to help. Poverty is high in our area and this is the best way I can think to help. I would like to put in 2gal baggies. I am in need of 6 meat sauce spaghetti sauces, 5 boxes of chicken rice a Roni, 5 cans of chicken, 12 cans of vegetables for the dinner bags. I have 6 things of noodles already. For the children's bags I would like package of 12 count ramen noodles, 12 Vienna sausages, 12 instant oatmeal, 12 count applesauce, 12 count cookies, 20 count of the lemonade or Kool-Aid packages to make gallon drinks. I do not want to make up a lot of bags, but would like some on hand. Willing to accept anything as it will always help students from being hungry. Also have thought about mini popcorn bags for a snack.
